Welcome

Welcome to my blog http://www.skegley.blogspot.com/ . CAVEAT LECTOR- Let the reader beware. This is a Christian Conservative blog. It is not meant to offend anyone. For Christian American readers of this blog:

I wish to incite all Christians to rise up and take back the United States of America with all of God's manifold blessings. We want the free allowance of the Bible and prayers allowed again in schools, halls of justice, and all governing bodies. We don't seek a theocracy until Jesus returns to earth because all men are weak and power corrupts the very best of them.
We want to be a kinder and gentler people without slavery or condescension to any.

The world seems to be in a time of discontent among the populace. Christians should not fear. God is Love, shown best through Jesus Christ. God is still in control. All Glory to our Creator and to our God!

A favorite quote from my good friend, Jack Plymale, which I appreciate:

"Wars are planned by old men,in council rooms apart. They plan for greater armament, they map the battle chart, but: where sightless eyes stare out, beyond life's vanished joys, I've noticed, somehow, all the dead and mamed are hardly more than boys(Grantland Rice per our mutual friend, Sarah Rapp)."

Thanks Jack!

I must admit that I do not check authenticity of my posts. If anyone can tell me of a non-biased arbitrator, I will attempt to do so more regularly. I know of no such arbitrator for the internet.

Why cops shoot

Forgive my inability to get the photos uploaded, but perhaps that is just as well. My blog guru, Shawn Baird, is enjoying himself in FL right now.

This "big guy" cop probably arrested the criminal, but exposed hinmself to injuries. Please take my word the cuts are gruesome. Many don't live after such confrontations.

This e-mail came from one of the most gentle people I know. Discipline is necessary. Self esteem is wonderful, but criminals don't deserve the over-consideration the law must now allow. With Dr. Spock as our PUSA, he will only back the gentle cop, unless the cop is protecting him and his wicked ideals, but a sane society deserves more than that.

THIS WAS AN INJURY THAT COULD HAVE BEEN PREVENTED.

DON'T BE A HERO... SHOOT, THEM!

The photos are of an officer trained in hand-to-hand combat. The officer figured, due to his size and fighting skills, he could disarm a knife wielding aggressor.

Here is why I am forwarding these on. To all the idiots out there who always say, 'Why did the cops have to shoot him? He only had a ( knife, bat, club. whatever). He didn't have to be shot. To that, I respond, 'tough crap .... shoot'em'.

If an officer tells you to drop your weapon, just drop it. If you're a retard, stupid, on crack, mental or just 'scared' .. too bad. No one deserves what this cop got for just doing his job.

This is vivid proof of how deadly people who are 'only armed with a knife' can be. Some of the public think that officers should try to disarm someone armed with a knife but anyone who has had training in knife fighting will tell you - even if you win you are going to get cut . Keep this in the back of your mind when confronting someone armed with an edged weapon.

O and his car industry shenanigans Thanks Jackie & TJ

Aside from the fact that I don't think it was Ben Franklin on that quote - think it was Edmond Burke? - this is an outstanding piece of journalism in the investigative mode - should make every American's blood boil. The Cap and Trade garbage offers even more billions for Nobama's "friends" like Al Gore, Goldman Sachs, etc. and I don't think most citizens have a clue about either.

Sigh. Jackie

I see that History's Greatest Monster, Barack Hussein Obama, has almost succeeded in his quest to destroy the United States of America. Just a little more time...just a little more time...

Subject: Chrysler's Railroad

This could be a scandal of epic proportions and one that makes Nixon's Watergate or Clinton's Monica Lewinsky affair pale by comparison. Why was there neither rhyme nor reason as to which dealerships of the Chrysler Corporation were to be closed? Roll the clock back to the weeks just before Chrysler declared bankruptcy. Chrysler, like GM, was in dire financial straights and federal government graciously offered to "buy the company" and keep them out of bankruptcy and "save jobs." Chrysler was, in the words of Obama and his administration, "Too big to fail," same story with GM.

The feds organized their "Automotive Task Force" to fix Chrysler and GM. Obama, in an act that is 100% unconstitutional, appointed a guy named Steve Rattner to be the White House's official Car Czar- literally, that's what his title is. Rattner is the liaison between Obama, Chrysler, and GM.

Initially, the national media reported that Chrysler had made this list of dealerships. That is not true. The Washington Examiner, Newsmax, Fox New and a host of other news agencies discovered that the list of dealerships was put together by the "Automotive Task Force" headed by no one other then Mr. Steve Rattner. Now the plot thickens. Remember earlier we said earlier that there was neither rhyme nor reason why certain dealerships were closed?
Actually there's a very interesting pattern as to who was closed down. Again, on May 27, 2009, The Washington Examiner and Newsmax exposed the connection. Amazingly, of the 789 dealerships closed by the federal government 788 had donated money, exclusively, to Republican political causes, while contributing nothing to Democratic political causes. The only "Democratic" dealership on the list was found to have donated $7,700 to Hillary's campaign, and a bit over $2,000 to John Edwards This same dealership, reportedly, also gave $200.00 to Obama's campaign. Does that seem a little odd to you?

Steve Rattner, the guy who put the list together...happens to be married to a babe named Maureen White. Maureen happens to be the former National Finance Chairman of the Democratic National Committee. As such, she would have access to campaign donation records from everyone in the nation, Republican or Democrat. But of course, this is just a wacky coincidence, we're certain.

Then comes another really wacky coincidence. On that list of dealerships being closed down, a weird thing happened in Arkansas, North Louisiana, and Southern Missouri. It seems that Bill Clinton's former White House Chief of Staff, Mack McClarty, owns a chain of dealership in that region, partnered with a fellow by the name of Robert Johnson.

Johnson happens to be founder of Black Entertainment Television and was a huge Obama supporter and financier. These guys own a half dozen Chrysler stores under the company title of RLJ-McClarty-Landers. Interestingly, none of their dealerships were ordered closed - not one- while all of their competing Chrysler/Dodge and Jeep dealership were! Eight dealerships located near the dealerships owned by McClarty and Johnson were ordered shut down. Thus, by pure luck, these two major Obama supporters now have virtual monopoly on Chrysler sales in their zone. Isn't that amazing? Go look in The Washington Examiner, the story's there, and it's in a dozen or so other web-based news organization, this isn't being made up.

Now if you thought Chrysler was owned by Fiat, you are truly mistaken. Under the federal court ruling, 65% of Chrysler is now owned by the federal government and the United Auto Worker's union- Fiat owns 20%. The other 15% is till privately owned and presumably will be traded on the stock market. Obama smiles and says he doesn't want to run the auto industry.

As horrifying as this is to comprehend, and being as how this used to be the United States of America, it would appear that the president has the power to destroy private businesses and eliminate upwards of 100,000 jobs, just because they don't agree with his political agenda.

This is Nazi Germany stuff, and it's happening right here, right now, in your back yard. There are voices in Washington demanding an explanation, but the "Automotive Task Force" has released no information to the public or any of the senators demanding answers for what has been done. Keep your ear to the ground for more on this story. If you've ever wanted to make a difference about anything in your life, get on the phone to your national senator or representative in the House and demand an investigation on this.

Benjamin Franklin had it right when he said, "All that's necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing."

Car Czar No More--An amazing thing happed as this story was going to press. Obama's Car Czar, Steve Rattner, resigned on July 13 and was promptly replaced by former steel workers union boss Ron Bloom. According to CBS News, Rattner left "to return to private life and spend time with his family." Treasure Secretary Tim Geithner said, "I hope that he takes another opportunity to bring his unique skills to government service in the future." By the way, Rattner is under investigation for a multi-million dollar pay-to-play investment bank scandal in New York. Uh-oh! But, we're certain that had nothing to do with his resignation. And, according to several news sources out there, there are rumors he's being investigated for what could be pay-to-play scandal involving the closing of Chrysler and GM dealerships. Really? Again, that couldn't have anything to with his resignation - that's ridiculous! Like CBS said, this guy just wants to spend more quality time with his family.

Obama has thirty-two personally appointed "czars" that answer to no one but him, all of whom are acting without any Constitutional authority. But hey, we're sure they all have "unique skills," as Tim Geithner likes to say.

Remembering 911

As I remember 911, I think of all of the good black American friends who would serve this country so much better than the sitting president. I would have Colin Powell, Bill Cosby, Dr. Chet Corbitt, Larry Hisle, Hortense Bemse Robinson, (the latter three black Portsmouth friends, or any who know what our country is truly about.

Any of these people and many of my white American friends could replace any of the elitist 535, or whatever number close to that, who smack their gums and pick their teeth while helping themselves to the goodies their offices afford them.

John Massey, whom I met through Esperanto, has so much good sense in his little toe than Biden or Obama have in whatever their liberal beings posess.

As an example, I just watched biden's speech at ground zero and I have no idea what he was trying to say. It isn't just that these people can vote, it is that they supposedly "represent" us. The other talking heads mean reverence, but they talk of how it changed us Americans. I am sorry but I disagree. We have fallen back to our own comfortable selves. Blacks will continue to vote 98% Democrat. Liberals will continue to support anything that wins elections. Hollywood actors, who are good only at remembering lines as Ben Stein recently said, will espouse the lib thoughts they share at cocktail parties. That islamic terrorists attacked us again and again is forgotten by these who enjoy the select fruits of our land and hope to keep us, the proletariat or non-thought-able Americans in the dark.

Say whatever you may about me, but please say that I have had enough. We deserve real change in America and 911 should remind us of that.

Sam

September 10, 2009The September 11th News and Views
by Thomas Beisner @ 11:47 pm. Filed under Blue Blooded Opinions

Good morning, my sweet KSR readers, and welcome to the end of your dreadfully long holiday work week. Today, as I’m sure you’re all aware is September 11, 2009 - the eighth anniversary of the terrorist attacks that leveled the Twin Towers, damaged the Pentagon and forever changed the course of American history. For my generation,(Matt Jones ios about 33) this date will forever be engrained in our memory and our hearts as one of the most sudden and shocking moments of our lifetimes. Whether right or wrong, my generation knows Pearl Harbor and D-Day as pages in our history books, while September 11th triggers an unfamiliar feeling of fear and shock - and a moment that still gives me chills to this moment when I think about it. It was the day that life stopped and suddenly our country didn’t seem so invincible. It was the first time that most people in my generation felt that the United States could be a battle ground and that we realized that things would never be the same. For me, this day also puts me right back at the University of Kentucky.

On September 11th, 2001, I had just turned 18 and was about a month into my freshman year at UK. I’ll never forget answering the phone at my Haggin Hall dorm room and hearing the voice of my roommate’s mother, who never called. She told me in a panicked voice to turn on the television, which I did just minutes before I watched the second plane crash into the towers. I’ll never forget the emotions I felt watching NBC that morning, wondering if what I was watching was actually happening, hoping that she had been mistaken and the Bruckheimer-like footage I was seeing was just an elaborate movie ad. I stayed glued to the television before leaving for my class that morning on a silent, zombie-like walk. When I entered the Classroom Building for Dr. DeSantis’ COM 101 class, few students talked and an eerie feeling overtook the room. Dr. DeSantis, who was visibly shaken, gave the class simple instructions. “Go home. Call your parents and tell them that you love them. This is bigger than school,” he said. We left and I arrived back at the dorm just a few minutes before watching one of the towers crumble to the ground. For as long as I live, I’ll never forget what happened that morning.

I’m sure everyone has a similar story about September 11th, 2001 and none of us - regardless of age - will ever forget where we were or the emotions we felt on that day. And that’s what is important. As we get more removed from that tragic day, it’s important to keep the families of those who lost loved ones in the attacks, in the ensuing rescue efforts and in the war that followed in your hearts. One day, my kids will only see 9/11 as a page in their history book and might not fully understand the millions of lives it impacted and the way it changed the course of this country. But, for those of us who have friends and family impacted or felt the overwhelming emotions of that day, we’ll never forget. So, today, say a prayer or do what you do for all of the people who suffered this tragedy eight years ago. And let’s hope we never feel that way again.

This must be considered PART ONE. It is a bigger project than I imagined and the old man in me is tired. Through Dave Garrett in Part one.
Reactions soon after 9-11-2001

From my book:
Acquaintances With Integrity

I, Sam Kegley, have been so fortunate in having extraordinary people, many friends and some merely acquaintances, permit me to interview them and use their stories in my books. George Hyrmer, my sons’ math teacher at Westerville South High School, called me about a year after I had the book published. He said: “Sam, I wanted to share with you what I found while looking over your book once more. The topics you proposed make interesting reading, in and of themselves, and there are several ways one may go about the readings.”
During this time when we Americans are thinking back of the terribly diabolic act of the Islamic terrorists on 9-11, I thought it might be interesting to look at their reactions to the horrific events.
Permit me to do this and please pick and choose or read them all as you wish:

Thanks Bob Looney!

We saw video of osama bin Laden and his friends celebrating this horrific event he orchistrated. It is inconceivable that America has elected a president who won't even say "islamic terrorists" and dares that we don't. This 911-2001 event is more horrific than Pearl Harbor, December 7, 1941.

I pray that God will bless America and please help us out of our current rock star leadership dilemma.

Sam

PS: This is a good time to once more invite any receiver of this e-mail to just hit message and return to sender if you want off any politically charged messages from me. This is politically charged, Americans!

Esoteric

The Wikipedia for "Apocryphal' mentions the word "esoteric" which also alludes to secret writings. I probably shouldn't have even posted the two words or attempted to explain them. They quickly go beyond my desire to explore them further.

I still, quite simply, believe that there is a God in Heaven, He sent his Son to die for the sins of us, his human creations, and He is still in control. I, nor any of us, don't personaly deserve anything except for His grace.
