SMART ASS:
Two young businessmen in Florida were sitting down for a break
in their soon-to-be new store in the shopping mall. As yet, the store
wasn't ready, with only a few shelves and display racks set up.
One said to the other, "I'll bet that any minute now some senior
is going to walk by, put his face to the window, and ask what we're selling."
Sure enough, just a moment later, a curious senior gentleman walked
up to the window, looked around intensely and rapped on the glass,
then in a loud voice asked, "What are you sellin' here?"
One of the men replied sarcastically, "We're selling ass-holes."
Without skipping a beat, the old timer said, "You're doing well. Only two left."
Seniors -- don't mess with them, they've been around!

Welcome to my blog http://www.skegley.blogspot.com/ . CAVEAT LECTOR- Let the reader beware. This is a Christian Conservative blog. It is not meant to offend anyone. For Christian American readers of this blog:
I wish to incite all Christians to rise up and take back the United States of America with all of God's manifold blessings. We want the free allowance of the Bible and prayers allowed again in schools, halls of justice, and all governing bodies. We don't seek a theocracy until Jesus returns to earth because all men are weak and power corrupts the very best of them.
We want to be a kinder and gentler people without slavery or condescension to any.
The world seems to be in a time of discontent among the populace. Christians should not fear. God is Love, shown best through Jesus Christ. God is still in control. All Glory to our Creator and to our God!
A favorite quote from my good friend, Jack Plymale, which I appreciate:
"Wars are planned by old men,in council rooms apart. They plan for greater armament, they map the battle chart, but: where sightless eyes stare out, beyond life's vanished joys, I've noticed, somehow, all the dead and mamed are hardly more than boys(Grantland Rice per our mutual friend, Sarah Rapp)."
Thanks Jack!
I must admit that I do not check authenticity of my posts. If anyone can tell me of a non-biased arbitrator, I will attempt to do so more regularly. I know of no such arbitrator for the internet.

Subject: CNN News Photographer
His request approved, the CNN News photographer quickly used a cell phone to call the local airport to charter a flight.
He was told a twin-engine plane would be waiting for him at the airport.
Arriving at the airfield, he spotted a plane warming up outside a hanger.
He jumped in with his bag, slammed the door shut, and shouted, 'Let's go'.
The pilot taxied out, swung the plane into the wind and took off.
Once in the air, the photographer instructed the pilot, 'Fly over the valley and make low passes so I can take pictures of the fires on the hillsides.'
'Why?' asked the pilot.
'Because I'm a photographer for CNN News,' he responded, 'and I need to get some close up shots.'
The pilot was strangely silent for a moment, finally he stammered, 'So, what you're telling me, is . . . You're NOT my flight instructor?'
"Life is short.
Drink the good wine first"

A German's view on Islam - very interesting!
A German's View on Islam
----------------------------------
A man, whose family was German aristocracy prior to World War II, owned a number of large industries and estates. When asked how many German people were true Nazis, the answer he gave can guide our attitude toward fanaticism.
"Very few people were true Nazis," he said, "but many enjoyed the return of German pride, and many more were too busy to care. I was one of those who just thought the Nazis were a bunch of fools. So, the majority just sat back and let it all happen.
Then, before we knew it, they owned us, and we had lost control, and the end of the world had come. My family lost everything.. I ended up in a concentration camp and the Allies destroyed my factories."
We are told again and again by "experts" and "talking heads" that Islam is the religion of peace, and that the vast majority of Muslims just want to live in peace. Although this unqualified assertion may be true, it is entirely irrelevant.
It is meaningless fluff, meant to make us feel better, and meant to somehow diminish the spectra of fanatics rampaging across the globe in the name of Islam.
The fact is that the fanatics rule Islam at this moment in history. It is the fanatics who march. It is the fanatics who wage any one of 50 shooting wars worldwide. It is the fanatics who systematically slaughter Christian or tribal groups throughout Africa and are gradually taking over the entire continent in an Islamic wave. It is the fanatics who bomb, behead, murder or honour-kill. It is the fanatics who take over mosque after mosque. It is the fanatics who zealously spread the stoning and hanging of rape victims and homosexuals. It is the fanatics who teach their young to kill and to become suicide bombers.
The hard quantifiable fact is that the peaceful majority, the "silent majority," is cowed and extraneous.
Communist Russia was comprised of Russians who just wanted to live in peace, yet the Russian Communists were responsible for the murder of about 20 million people.. The peaceful majority was irrelevant.
China 's huge population was peaceful as well, but Chinese Communists managed to kill a staggering 70 million people.
The average Japanese individual prior to World War II was not a war mongering sadist. Yet, Japan murdered and slaughtered its way across South East Asia in an orgy of killing that included the systematic murder of 12 million Chinese civilians; most killed by sword, shovel and bayonet.
And who can forget Rwanda , which collapsed into butchery. Could it not be said that the majority of Rwandans were "peace loving"?
History lessons are often incredibly simple and blunt, yet for all our powers of reason, we often miss the most basic and uncomplicated of points: Peace-loving Muslims have been made irrelevant by their silence. Peace-loving Muslims will become our enemy if they don't speak up, because like my friend from Germany , they will awaken one day and find that the fanatics own them, and the end of their world will have begun.
Peace-loving Germans, Japanese, Chinese, Russians, Rwandans, Serbs, Afghans, Iraqis, Palestinians, Somalis, Nigerians, Algerians and many others have died because the peaceful majority did not speak up until it was too late.
As for us who watch it all unfold, we must pay attention to the only group that counts: the fanatics who threaten our way of life.
Lastly, anyone who doubts that the issue is serious and just deletes this email without sending it on is contributing to the passivity that allows the problems to expand. So, extend yourself a bit and send this on and on and on! Let us hope that thousands, world wide, read this and think about it, and send it on before it's too late.
And remember, the first thing the fanatics will do to the silent majority, is to disarm them.

Bob Looney- Buchanan to o
Thanks Bob Looney! I wonder if Ann Stambaugh is related to Dr. Stambaugh, former Technical director of Goodyear Atomic?
White Americans have acquaintances of many wonderful black friends who do not fit into the crime stats shown herein, but this testimony by Buchanan says it like it is. Stats tell a story of the high percentage of the black race who remain unappreciative of all that white Americans have done for their race. When I witness many solid black people in Columbus State's Developmental Math Lab, I hear stories of black heroism driving each of them to succeed through education. The blacks who show this heroic example are the true heroes of the black race in my opinion, moreso than the many sports stars, who choose not to help their fellow blacks.

Pat Buchanan had the guts to say it. It is about time.
BUCHANAN TO OBAMA
By Patrick J. Buchanan
Barack says we need to have a conversation about race in America . Fair enough. But this time, it has to be a two-way conversation. White America needs to be heard from, not just lectured to... This time, the Silent Majority needs to have its convictions, grievances and demands heard. And among them are these:
First, America has been the best country on earth for black folks. It was here that 600,000 black people, brought from Africa in slave ships, grew into a community of 40 million, were introduced to Christian salvation, and reached the greatest levels of freedom and prosperity blacks have ever known.. Wright ought to go down on his knees and thank God he is an American.
Second, no people anywhere has done more to lift up blacks than white Americans. Untold trillions have been spent since the ' 60s on welfare, food stamps, rent supplements, Section 8 housing, Pell grants, student loans, legal services, Medicaid, Earned Income Tax Credits and poverty programs designed to bring the African-American community into the mainstream.. Governments, businesses and colleges have engaged in discrimination against white folks -- with affirmative action, contract set-asides and quotas -- to advance black applicants over white applicants. Churches, foundations, civic groups, schools and individuals all over America have donated their time and money to support soup kitchens, adult education, day care, retirement and nursing homes for blacks.
We hear the grievances. Where is the gratitude???
Barack talks about new 'ladders of opportunity' for blacks. Let him go to Altoona ? And Johnstown , and ask the white kids in Catholic schools how many were visited lately by Ivy League recruiters handing out scholarships for 'deserving' white kids.? Is white America really responsible for the fact that the crime and incarceration rates for African-Americans are seven times those of white America ? Is it really white America 's fault that illegitimacy in the African-American community has hit 70 percent and the black dropout rate from high schools in some cities has reached 50 percent?
Is that the fault of white America or, first and foremost, a failure of the black community itself?
As for racism, its ugliest manifestation is in interracial crime, and especially interracial crimes of violence. Is Barack Obama aware that while white criminals choose black victims 3 percent of the time, black criminals choose white victims 45 percent of the time?
Is Barack aware that black-on-white rapes are 100 times more common than the reverse, that black-on-white robberies were 139 times as common in the first three years of this decade as the reverse?
We have all heard ad nauseam from the Rev. Al about Tawana Brawley, the Duke rape case and Jena. And all turned out to be hoaxes. But about the epidemic of black assaults on whites that are real, we hear nothing.
Sorry, Barack, some of us have heard it all before, about 40 years and 40 trillion tax dollars ago.
We are a Christian Nation even if Mr. Obama says we are not.
This needs to be passed around because, this is a message everyone needs to hear!!!

Thanks Lou Flores! John 3:16
Lou,
"How lucky you can be" my Nisei friend, Sgt. Noburu Yamomoto, used to proclaim to me in our barrack in Japan. Of course he was looking at Jeanie's portrait by my bed. "How you get such a beautiful woman, boy?" I have so many great friends such as you who find and forward the best emails to me, Lou.
John 3:16 for you and me and all of our friends!

sure nobody will believe this, but just check it out on the link below & see for yourself. This Government has this whole country fooled & they don't even know it. GOD Bless..
Here's an interesting letter, important and verifiable information :
About 6 months ago, the writer was watching a news program on oil and
One of The Forbes Bros. Was the guest. The host said to Forbes, "I am going to Ask You a direct question and I would like a direct answer; how much oil Does The U.S. Have in the ground?"
Forbes did not miss a beat, he said, "more Than all the Middle East put together." Please read below.
The U. S. Geological Service issued a report in April 2008 that only
Scientists and oil men knew was coming, but man was it big. It was a
Revised report (hadn't been updated since 1995) on how much oil was in
This Area of the western 2/3 of North Dakota, western South Dakota, and
Extreme Eastern Montana ..... Check THIS out:
The Bakken is the largest domestic oil discovery since Alaska's Prudhoe
Bay, And has the potential to eliminate all American dependence on foreign
Oil. The Energy Information Administration (EIA) estimates it at 503 billion Barrels. Even if just 10% of the oil is recoverable... At $107 a barrel, We're looking at a resource base worth more than $5..3 trillion.
"When I first briefed legislators on this, you could practically see
Their Jaws hit the floor. They had no idea.." says Terry Johnson, the Montana Legislature's financial analyst.
"This sizable find is now the highest-producing onshore oil field found In
The past 56 years," reports The Pittsburgh Post Gazette. It's a Formation
Known as the Williston Basin, but is more commonly referred to as the
'Bakken.' It stretches from Northern Montana, through North Dakota and
Into Canada. For years, U. S. Oil exploration has been considered a dead
End. Even the 'Big Oil' companies gave up searching for major oil wells
Decades ago. However, a recent technological breakthrough has opened up the Bakken's massive reserves.... And we now have access of up to 500 Billion Barrels. And because this is light, sweet oil, those billions of barrels Will cost Americans just $16 PER BARREL!
That's enough crude to fully fuel the American economy for 2041 years
Straight. And if THAT didn't throw you on the floor, then this next one
Should - because it's from 2006!
U. S. Oil Discovery- Largest Reserve in the World Stansberry Report Online - 4/20/2006
Hidden 1,000 feet beneath the surface of the Rocky Mountains lies the
Largest untapped oil reserve in the world. It is more than 2 TRILLION
Barrels. On August 8, 2005 President Bush mandated its extraction. In
Three and a half years of high oil prices none has been extracted. With this Motherload of oil why are we still fighting over off-shore drilling?
They reported this stunning news: We have more oil inside our borders,
Than all the other proven reserves on earth. Here are the official estimates:
- 8-times as much oil as Saudi Arabia
- 18-times as much oil as Iraq
- 21-times as much oil as Kuwait
- 22-times as much oil as Iran
- 500-times as much oil as Yemen
- and it's all right here in the Western United States .
HOW can this BE? HOW can we NOT BE extracting this? Because the
Environmentalists and others have blocked all efforts to help America
Become Independent of foreign oil! Again, we are letting a small group of
People Dictate our lives and our economy....WHY?
James Bartis, lead researcher with the study says we've got more oil in
This very compact area than the entire Middle East -more than 2 TRILLION Barrels Untapped. That's more than all the proven oil reserves of crude oil in the World today, reports The Denver Post.
Don't think 'OPEC' will drop its price - even with this find? Think Again!
It's all about the competitive marketplace, - it has to.
Think OPEC just Might be funding the environmentalists?
Got your attention yet? Now, while you're thinking about it, do this:
Pass this along. If you don't take a little time to do this, then you
Should stifle yourself the next time you complain about gas prices - by
Doing NOTHING, you forfeit your right to complain.

Now I just wonder what would happen in this country if every one of you

Governor Arnold of California retreats with his support of o care.
To view this email as a web page, go here.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sam,
As candidate, President Obama promised us that healthcare negotiations would be covered by C-SPAN "so that the American people can see what the choices are."
So much for promises. As Speaker Pelosi laughingly responded this week when asked about the President's C-SPAN promise: "There are a number of things he was for on the campaign trail."
Today, leaders from the House and Senate are meeting with White House officials behind closed doors to finalize healthcare legislation, but C-SPAN and all of us are shut out.
But you can help do something about it. Will you call your Senator and ask him or her to stand by the President's promise to let C-SPAN in and cover the healthcare negotiations?
As a candidate, President Obama said we should "not underestimate the degree to which ...you can shame Congress into doing the right thing if people know what's going on."
Maybe he was right. Maybe we can shame Congress into doing the right thing.
Please call today.
Sincerely,
Dan Varroney

P.S. Did you hear the news that California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has reversed his support for healthcare legislation? In a speech yesterday before the California legislature, Schwarzenegger said this: "Now, as you know, while I enthusiastically supported health care reform, it is not reform to push more costs onto states that are already struggling while other states are getting sweetheart deals. Health care reform, which started as noble and needed legislation, has become a trough of bribes, deals and loopholes. Yet you've heard of the bridge to nowhere. Well, this is health care to nowhere."
