For Christian American readers of this blog:

I wish to incite all Christians to rise up and take back the United States of America with all of God's manifold blessings. We want the free allowance of the Bible and prayers allowed again in schools, halls of justice, and all governing bodies. We don't seek a theocracy until Jesus returns to earth because all men are weak and power corrupts the very best of them.
We want to be a kinder and gentler people without slavery or condescension to any.

The world seems to be in a time of discontent among the populace. Christians should not fear. God is Love, shown best through Jesus Christ. God is still in control. All Glory to our Creator and to our God!

A favorite quote from my good friend, Jack Plymale, which I appreciate:

"Wars are planned by old men,in council rooms apart. They plan for greater armament, they map the battle chart, but: where sightless eyes stare out, beyond life's vanished joys, I've noticed, somehow, all the dead and mamed are hardly more than boys(Grantland Rice per our mutual friend, Sarah Rapp)."

Thanks Jack!

I must admit that I do not check authenticity of my posts. If anyone can tell me of a non-biased arbitrator, I will attempt to do so more regularly. I know of no such arbitrator for the internet.

Akiane Kramarik Christ Paintings-Genius youngster

Interview: Akiane speaks of heaven and paintings

HUNTINGDON, PA - February 21, 2012 - Akiane Kramarik’s paintings of Heaven and God are beyond breathtaking. They are realistic, yet ethereal. They are tangible, yet capture the intangible. They are aesthetic, yet natural. They portray love, yet the love is felt more than seen.

Much like the 17-year-old artist and prodigy, the paintings stir the soul, bringing to mind greater things than those which exist here on earth. Like the lyrics of a song that we have never heard, Akiane’s paintings of Heaven evoke feelings that we have never felt, yet long to experience.

Akiane began sketching at the age of four; by age six, she was painting on canvases. She told her mother that she had to paint because she had “visions from God.” Her parents, who were atheists at the time, were simultaneously confused and amazed by their young daughter’s paintings of Heaven and Jesus Christ, whom she referred to as “God.”

The Kramariks have stated over and over that these were not terms that were discussed in their home. Akiane’s mother, Foreli, is originally from Lithuania and had no religious background or belief system. Akiane’s father, Mark, was brought up as a Catholic, but had not been a practicing Catholic in years.

In an interview with The Washington Times Communities section, “Lori’s Centiments,” Akiane attempted to explain what it is like to have a “vision from God.”

“A vision is like an oasis in a desert. You can’t have it all the time, as you need to keep on continuing your journey through the desert of life experiences, full of faith trials. . . I am not so concerned about waiting for a vision to appear because I know it will come to me when I least expect it. . . I still do have visions that inspire my work,” Akiane said.

Akiane has said in the past that she must paint what she sees in visions, which she says are much like dreams, soon after she experiences them or the vision will lose its clarity. When she gazes at a vision-inspired painting, such as “Prince of Peace,” she can clearly recall the vision, although she needs to look at the painting to bring it fully to her conscious mind.
In another painting, titled “Father Forgive Them,” Akiane painted Jesus with his hands raised upward, as though beseeching his Father in Heaven. She describes God in an interview with CNN as “like a bow of light - really pure, really masculine, really strong, and big . . . His eyes are just beautiful.”

Among the some 250 paintings Akiane has completed, many have been influenced by her visions or by some other aspect of her spiritual life. Some of the most awe-inspiring are those of Heaven, which Akiane says she has seen, through revelations from God.
In our interview, Akiane described Heaven using words: “Plants, animals, and all beings spoke not through words, but through color, vibration, and thoughts. Everything was simply effortless. But my recollections of Heaven and visions are fading and new experiences are being formed through time. My understanding of Heaven has expanded and deepened since my first encounter with visions and dreams of Heaven. We co-create our reality however we like it and need it. To a certain degree, some people can experience that even here on earth.”

Akiane has also repeatedly mentioned the vibrancy and ethereal beauty that exists in Heaven. “All of the colors were out of this world. There are hundreds of millions of colors that we don’t know yet. The flowers there were crystal clear . . .” Akiane told CNN in an interview a few years ago.

Perhaps Akiane’s best known painting of Heaven is, “Supreme Sanctuary,” which depicts an ornate building on a hill, flooded in sunshine and warmth, and surrounded by unusual, yet inherently beautiful flowers of every hue. As Akiane has emphasized, it is impossible for her to capture the colors which exist in Heaven because of their uniqueness.

In addition to her prolific painting, Akiane also writes poetry, often to describe a painting or vision.
Here is a portion of the poem that accompanies the painting titled, “Supreme Sanctuary”:
Eternal childhood -
With delicate demands . . .
No reflections have been gathered
In the same-hue gardens -
A journey
Seems too physical
Across the crossroad of
Bridges. . .
For some reason I can’t
Wait
To be mixed up
Into the chaste pigments of
All experiences.
For some reason
I can’t wait for the journey
Which is the only way
To reach the Light. . .   .

In our interview, we asked Akiane to describe God to someone who doesn’t have a relationship with Him. Her response, in part, was that God “is love.” Akiane also stated that having a relationship with God requires having love and purity in your heart.

Akiane said her goal in life is “to bring people closer together through art.” Her art has certainly accomplished that on many levels. Not only have her paintings sold for very large sums, ranging from $5,000 to $3 million, they have undoubtedly touched the hearts and minds of all who have seen them. The teenager who has had no formal training has definitely elicited great excitement and admiration in the art world. She has also intrigued the public about God and Heaven, making many who didn’t believe, pause and wonder about how a little girl could have such a gift if not for a loving God.

The soft spoken girl is self-effacing about her gifts, attributing her paintings to God’s presence in her life. For instance, upon completion of one of her works of art, Akiane said, “I feel every painting is a challenging piece of a puzzle for me and others to solve. I feel both humble and exhilarated to see if completed.”

Akiane spends four to five hours a day on her paintings, mostly done in acrylics or oil. The process from beginning to completion of a painting takes about three months. She is home schooled, along with her siblings, Delfi, Jean Lia, Ilia, and Aurelius, in their hometown, Sandpoint, Idaho. Along with painting and writing, Akiane spends time reading and studying. She speaks Lithuanian, Russian, and English. Other activities that Akiane said she enjoys are writing, textile designing, playing instruments including the piano, guitar, flute and the violin, photography, cooking, going to operas, ballets, and plays. In addition, she enjoys creating stop motion or clay motion short films and sculpting.

At this time, Akiane does not have plans to attend college. “For a true artist, life is a real academy. I am always both a student and a teacher. I have been teaching art to children since the age of eight. Now I am a co-founder of Akiane Arts School at Foreli Academy, where we are now enrolling students. As a student of life, I am challenged everyday to experiment and to explore the unknown territories.”

The ‘unknown territories’ that Akiane has explored seems to primarily revolve around her spirituality, which she paints with such passion and fervor that her paintings seem to virtually come to life. One such painting, is titled, “The Angel,” which resonates with the purity and love that Akiane often speaks of. The gossamer-like gown that surrounds the angel lends to the painting’s ethereal, ephemeral ambiance, drawing the audience in, making the audience long to know more.
Fortunately, Akiane wrote the following explanation about the painting, “The Angel”:
“. . . Sometimes we meet certain angels that appear like humans, and we don’t know it. Many of us have been saved from many accidents, and we don’t know it either. We should appreciate each safe moment. In this painting, I blended a few dimensions to portray the guardian angels’ mission: with the wings invisible to human eyes, yet with the see-through energy veil, the youthful angel is catching a falling child without any tension, difficulty, or worry. Her background is gold, copper, and brass, to signify the providence, the law, and the safety. To save our bodies is easy for an angel, but what is hard is that sometimes she must allow someone to fall or get hurt, according to God’s laws. And I don’t remember why . . .”

The beauty and awe evoked by Akiane’s paintings can not be denied. Nor can the loveliness of the painter herself be unobserved. She is the epitome of a unique gentleness and beauty that seems to glow from inside her until it reaches her countenance.

Thanks Lori Rose Centi for writing such a beautiful article, like a doorway into the Light.  I am very grateful for the opportunity thus given to walk through that door and experience the "other side", through Akiane's art, even for a few moments. What a different world it is compared to where we normally spend our time. Great choice of quotes. And the video clip was super too. Very artfully done.
We hear the CNN narrator pronounce her name the way it is supposed to be spoken.

  • I've gone through her gallery and it is lovely work touching and full of color and talent. I don't like to use the word prodigy, because this is clearly natural talent that was WELL nurtured by loving and listening parents.
Perhaps I am a bit cynical as coming from an art background, but for her age she is extremely talented and has progressed exponentially.(She gets better because she practices, practices, practices and lives for the paint) And honestly, I'm flat out jealous of the parental and family support she got from her creativity.
Perhaps if many of us where allowed to be who we are, and loved for it, the word prodigy would be a common thing.

Thank you, God, for giving her the gift of showing us all how awesome our future home is ans how beautiful your son Jesus is. I can't wait to see you both face to face!!!!!!

A 12 year old paints Heaven

This young lady is one terrific artist!
Makes one pause, and reflect!!
Some of her art work is at Mardel and is so beautiful it takes your breath away
If you read the book Heaven is for Real, this is the little girl who was talked about in the book
and her rendition of Christ. Every time the little boy in the book saw a picture of Christ, his folks
would ask him if the pictures he saw actually looked like Christ. He would always say no until he
saw Akianes picture of Christ, then he said this is what Christ looks like. After you scroll through
her artwork there is a video at the end.
.....
.
Don't skip the video at the end... it really is a "must see".!
Akiane was born in 1994

Some will STILL vote for obama! Thanke Ramey H.!

I cannot confirm or deny any of the following. I can tell you I have already read on the Internet or have heard on the TV news channels much of what is in the article below. My guess is you have also. Plus, this writer comes right out and lists her sources at the end, all of which can be accessed by all of us if we have any doubts and care to check them out.
What scares me more than anything is I know or have met far too many voters who are pathetically ignorant of Obama and know only what the “elite left wing” media, which is in the tank for Obama, has told them. When you add to that that Obama is an attractive, personable person, father and husband, those who are either too lazy or don’t care enough to do any research to educate and inform themselves will vote for him again. You can rest assured I hope I’m wrong. RB
****************************************************************
This came from a Facebook page. Check the link below.
This is about Barry Soetoro aka Barack Hussein Obama.
I believe this is worth passing along to as many voters as possible.....
I am merely passing this on as received.
Written by a female Obama supporter who voted for him for president.
Legitimate Question
This election has me very worried. So many things to consider. I voted for Obama. McCain was a Washington insider and we don't need any more of them. I have changed my mind three times, since then. I watch all the news channels, jumping from one to another. I must say this drives my husband crazy. But, I feel if you view CNN and Fox News, you might get some middle ground to work with. I started thinking, "where does all the money come from for President Obama?” I have four daughters who went to College, and we were middle class, and money was tight. We (including my girls) worked hard and there were lots of student loans. I started looking into Obama's history for my own peace of mind.
Around 1979 Obama started college at Occidental in California. He is very open about his two years at Occidental. He tried all kinds of drugs and was wasting his time but, even though he had a brilliant mind, did not apply himself to his studies. "Barry" (that was the name he used all his life) during this time had two roommates, Muhammad Hasan Chandoo and Wahid Hamid, both from Pakistan. During the summer of 1981, after his second year in college, he made a "round the world" trip. Stopping to see his mother in Indonesia, next Hyderabad in India, three weeks in Karachi, Pakistan where he stayed with his roommate's family, then off to Africa to visit his father's family.
My question - Where did he get the money for this trip? Neither I, nor any one of my children would have had money for a trip like this when they were in college. When he came back, he started school at Columbia University in New York. It is at this time he wants everyone to call him Barack - not Barry. Do you know what the tuition is at Columbia? It's not cheap to say the least.
My girls asked me; where did he get money for tuition? Student Loans? Maybe it's none of my business?
After Columbia , he went to Chicago to work as a Community Organizer for $12,000 a year. Why Chicago? Why not New York? He was already living in New York. By "chance,” he met Antoin "Tony" Rezko, who was born in Aleppo Syria, and a real estate developer in Chicago. Rezko has been convicted of fraud and bribery several times in the past and again in 2011. Rezko, was named "Entrepreneur of the Decade" by the Arab-American Business and Professional Association." About two years later, Obama entered Harvard Law School. Do you have any idea what tuition is for Harvard Law School? Where did he get the money for Law School? More student loans? His family had no money that's for sure.
After Law school, he went back to Chicago. Rezko offered him a job, which he turned down. But, he did take a job with Davis, Miner, Barnhill & Galland. Guess what I discovered? They represented "Rezar" which is Rezko's firm. Rezko was one of Obama's first major financial contributors when he ran for office in Chicago. In 2003, Rezko threw an early fundraiser for Obama which Chicago Tribune reporter David Mendelland claims was instrumental in providing Obama with "seed money" for his U.S. Senate race.
In 2005, Obama purchased a new home in the Kenwood District of Chicago for $1.65 million (less than asking price). With ALL those Student Loans - Where did he get the money for this property? On the same day Rezko's wife, Rita, purchased the adjoining empty lot for full price. The London Times reported that Nadhmi Auchi, an Iraqi-born billionaire loaned Rezko $3.5 million three weeks before Obama's new home was purchased. Obama met Nadhmi Auchi many times with Rezko.
Now, we have Obama running for President. Valerie Jarrett, was Michele Obama's boss. She is now Obama's chief advisor and he does not make any major decisions without talking to her first. Where was Jarrett born? Ready for this? Shiraz, Iran. Am I going nuts or is there a pattern here?
On May 10, 2008, the Times reported, Robert Malley, advisor to Obama was "sacked" after the press found out he was having regular contacts with "Hamas," which controls Gaza and is connected with Iran. This past week, buried in the back part of the papers, Iraqi newspapers reported that during Obama's visit to Iraq, he asked their leaders to do nothing about the war until after he is elected, and he will "Take care of things." What does that mean?
Oh, and by the way, remember the college roommates that were born in Pakistan? They are in charge of all those "small" Internet campaign contributions for Obama. Where is that money coming from? The poor and middle class in this country? Or could it be from the Middle East?
And the final bit of news. On September 7, 2009, The Washington Times posted a verbal slip that was made on "This Week" with George Stephanopoulos. Obama on talking about his religion said, "My Muslim faith." When questioned, "he made a mistake." Some mistake, huh?
All of the above information I got on line. If you would like to check it - Wikipedia, encyclopedia, Barack Obama; Tony Rezko; Valerie Jarrett: Daily Times - Obama visited Pakistan in 1981; The Washington Times - September 7, 2008; The Times May 10, 2008.
Now the BIG question - If I found out all this information on my own, why have not all of our "intelligent" members of the press been reporting this? Is this a Kettle of Fish?
As Arsenio Hall would say.----"HUMMMMMMM! Does something stink or is it my imagination?" Are not these are legitimate questions for our president?

Historic article Boeing Seattle closed- thanks Ramey H.!

Historic Article
1944? No - it's the year 2010
Early Saturday morning, in a rainy Seattle , 0300 hrs. local time. The location: Boeing's historic Plant II - about to be torn down after three quarters of a century producing thousands of the most significant and historic airplanes ever built.
In preparation for demolition, three airplanes that have been undergoing Museum of Flight restoration in the factory's assembly bays will have to be moved. Just as in days past, with lights and images reflecting off the wet pavement, the last three airplanes are rolled out. The giant hangar doors are raised, the tugs and tow bars are hooked up, and with lights flashing, they are moved out of the factory and onto the historic ramp, where so many have gone before. Then across East Marginal Way and out onto Boeing Field.
They are the last airplanes to roll out of these doors, ever!

First out isn't even a Boeing airplane - but rather a Lockheed Super G Constellation that flew for Trans-Canada Air Lines. The Connie is destined for the Air Park, next to Air Force One, after a Plant II stay of 1 year and three

days.

Next is a Boeing B-17 - especially heart-tugging as she is the last B-17 to roll out of these doors. Boeing built 6981 B-17s in this factory during WW II, at a peak rate of 16 per day. I guess you could say they built 6981 and rolled out 6982 - including this last ship - 65 years after her last sister.

A poignant moment in time

Museum employee and good friend Evan Elliott, driving the tug, knows he has just made history.

Finally, a Boeing B-29 rolls under the raised hangar doors and out into the dark and wet night, the very last airplane that will ever roll from this factory.

This Boeing B-29 is the "last of the last."
The now empty factory bays sit - silently awaiting their fate.
Everyone present knew they were witnessing history unfolding in front of their eyes. More than a few tears ran down more than a few cheeks, to mingle with the soft Seattle drops of rain

A Boeing Plant II Primer
The ramp that these three historic airplanes roll across, and the building they leave is one of the most historic aviation sites in the world.
Historic article

Here, in April 1944, are the 16 B-17 Flying Fortress bombers produced in this building - that day, and every day! Click here for a Personal Note about those B-17s.

In October 1944, the first Boeing XC-97 rolled out of these doors - later to become the C-97 transport, KC-97 Tanker, and B-377 commercial Stratocruiser. (See the camouflage on the roof?)

During WW II, the plant was completely camouflaged to look like a residential area as protection against possible Japanese air attack.

In the late 1940s and early 1950s, myriad B-50 bombers and C-97 Transports are being produced in this factory.

On 12 Sept 1947, a radical new airplane - the Boeing B-47 six-jet bomber Prototype is rolled out. This airplane is the direct lineal matriarch for all the jet airplanes Boeing has produced since.

In 1952, in the darkness and wet of a Seattle night, the Prototype Boeing B-52 8-engine Bomber is rolled out and across East Marginal Way. She's shrouded in secrecy and covered by canvas and tarps. This amazing airplane is still in front-line combat service to this day.

Here 277 B-52s are being produced where the earlier airplanes once were assembled.

And, in 1966, the first Prototype Boeing twin-jet 737 was manufactured in this building and rolled out of these doors on to this ramp. This airplane is in the Museum's collection. She's the first of more than 8000 737s built or ordered since then.

And so, today - History meets History as the last three airplanes roll out of these doors.

Boeing's Plant II is truly aviation Hallowed Ground.
Note: The B-17 and B-29 went to hangars across the field; the Connie to the Air Park .

Night Watchman ... good stuff, Fred R. & George K!!

NIGHT WATCHMANOnce upon a time the government had a vast scrap yard in the middle of a desert.

Congress said, "Someone may steal from it at night."

So they created a night watchman position and hired a person for the job.

Then Congress said, "How does the watchman do his

job without instruction?"

So they created a planning department and hired two people, one person to write the instructions, and one person to do time studies.

Then Congress said, "How will we know the night watchman is doing the tasks correctly?"

So they created a Quality Control department and hired two people. One was to do the studies and one was to write the reports.

Then Congress said, "How are these people going to get paid?"

So they created two positions: a time keeper and a payroll officer then hired two people.

Then Congress said, "Who will be accountable for all of these people?"

So they created an administrative section and hired three people, an Administrative Officer, Assistant Administrative Officer, and a Legal Secretary.

Then Congress said, "We have had this command in operation for one year and we are $918,000 over budget, we must cut back."

So they laid-off the night watchman.

NOW slowly, let it sink in.

Quietly, we go like sheep to slaughter. Does anybody remember the reason given for the establishment of the DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY during the Carter administration?
Anybody?

Anything?

No?

Didn't think so!

Bottom line is, we've spent several hundred billion dollars in support of an agency, the reason

for which very few people who read this can remember!

Ready??

It was very simple... and at the time, everybody thought it very
appropriate.

The Department of Energy was instituted on 8/04/1977, TO LESSEN OUR DEPENDENCE ON FOREIGN OIL.

Hey, pretty efficient, huh???

AND NOW IT'S 2012 -- 35 YEARS LATER -- AND THE BUDGET FOR THIS "NECESSARY" DEPARTMENT IS AT $24.2 BILLION A YEAR.

IT HAS 16,000 FEDERAL EMPLOYEES ANDAPPROXIMATELY 100,000 CONTRACT EMPLOYEES; AND LOOK AT THE JOB IT HAS DONE!

(THIS IS WHERE YOU SLAP YOUR FOREHEAD AND SAY, "WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?")

34 years ago 30% of our oil consumption was foreign imports. Today 70% of our oil consumption is foreign imports.

Ah, yes -- good old Federal bureaucracy.

NOW, WE HAVE TURNED OVER THE BANKING SYSTEM, HEALTH CARE, AND THE AUTO INDUSTRY TO THE SAME GOVERNMENT?

Hello!! Anybody Home?

Signed....The Night Watchman

Elite?

There have been good and benevelent rulers on earth throughout history.  There have also been bad and corrupt rulers.

In America, the last great bastion, we have developed the "elite" class of rulers who are in each of the three branches of our government.

It has been a good idea.

But, we have fallen from insisting in fundamentals to accepting "charisma" as the way to keep a free country.

I would like to see America lead the world back to "meat and potatoes" fundamentalism in all things.

I pray to Almighty God to grant us that kind of earthly leadership.

We have fallen but let us now get up!

This I say, only from deep within my heart ... and in the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Sam :(
