For Christian American readers of this blog:

I wish to incite all Christians to rise up and take back the United States of America with all of God's manifold blessings. We want the free allowance of the Bible and prayers allowed again in schools, halls of justice, and all governing bodies. We don't seek a theocracy until Jesus returns to earth because all men are weak and power corrupts the very best of them.
We want to be a kinder and gentler people without slavery or condescension to any.

The world seems to be in a time of discontent among the populace. Christians should not fear. God is Love, shown best through Jesus Christ. God is still in control. All Glory to our Creator and to our God!

A favorite quote from my good friend, Jack Plymale, which I appreciate:

"Wars are planned by old men,in council rooms apart. They plan for greater armament, they map the battle chart, but: where sightless eyes stare out, beyond life's vanished joys, I've noticed,somehow, all the dead and mamed are hardly more than boys(Grantland Rice per our mutual friend, Sarah Rapp)."

Thanks Jack!

I must admit that I do not check authenticity of my posts. If anyone can tell me of a non-biased arbitrator, I will attempt to do so more regularly. I know of no such arbitrator for the internet.

Amazing fish story in Ohio ... thanks Judi C.!

Amen to this!

Subject: Amazing Story...and true!
A Fish Story.........
This is true!

A guy who lives at Lake Saint Marys

(60 miles north of Dayton , OH ) saw a ball bouncing

around kind of strange in the lake and went to

investigate.

It turned out to be a flathead catfish that had

apparently tried to swallow a basketball which

became stuck in its mouth!!

The fish was totally exhausted from trying to

dive, but unable to, because the ball would

always bring him back up to the surface.

The guy tried numerous times to get the ball out,

but was unsuccessful. He finally had his wife cut

the ball in order to deflate it and release the hungry

catfish.

You probably wouldn't have believed this,

if you hadn't seen the following pictures:

Just in case ... thanks John & Yvette M.!

John & Yvette Massey
Just in Case ...

I just HAD to send this to you because either you are a dear and treasured friend, or a beloved family member.
Someday when we have to face the passing of a friend we are struck with the pain of learning that sometimes there isn't "anymore."

No more hugs; no more special moments to celebrate together; no more phone calls just to chat; no more
"just one minute."

Sometimes, who and what we care about the most gets all used up and goes away, never to return before we can say good-bye, and say
"I love and care about you."

So while we have it, it's best to love it, care for it, fix it when it's broken and heal it when it's sick.

Suppose one morning you never wake up, will all your friends know how much you care about them?

The important thing is to let everyone know how much happiness you wish for them.

So just in case I'm gone tomorrow........

2010 U.S. Census Map Thanks Ramey H.!

Folks, this is an amazing and very revealing map. You can move it around and enlarge it or make it smaller. Check it out and keep it for reference.

Remember in 2010 you filled out a census form?
Well, here are the results of that process. (You may want to save this in your favorites.) What you will see is a Map of the US - not just the 48 states but all of the 50 states. Territories are not in the census, but they did provide information during this process.
So, let us say you are in Virginia, you can go by county and as you zoom in by city to see the increase or decrease and then you can see the changes of the various races within these cities.
Look at places you know and also look at the map at the darker brown location. You can zoom in and out to get the information on the places you know.
Use your cursor to move the map around and you can zoom in on specific counties to get current stats. It is very interesting.
Fascinating. Just glide your cursor over the map and it displays every county. Can't imagine how long it took to create this map.

Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani appeared Sunday on CBS’ “Face the Nation” and backed up previous remarks about Joe Biden’s mental capacity, calling the vice president “a joke.”

“After not knowing what state he was in, not knowing what century he was in, in 24 hours, and making what I would consider to be an absolutely disgusting appeal to racial sentiment, I said I wonder if he’s got the mental capacity to be the president of the United States,” Giuliani said. “This guy is like one gaffe after the other, and he’s a joke on late-night television. I think they’ve also locked him in his room for the rest of the campaign.”

Biden’s comment about putting voters “back in chains” occurred during a campaign rally in Virginia.

On the Mitt Romney tax-return controversy, Giuliani defended the Republican presidential nominee and said “the Romneys have explained this.”

“I think the concern is, you put out 10, 20 years of taxes, that’s all we’re going to be doing for the next two month,” he said. “There’s nothing wrong with Gov. Romney’s taxes.”

He described Romney’s choice of Paul Ryan as vice president as “gutsy.”

“By picking Paul Ryan, he decided . . . we’re going to have a debate on the issues.”

The selection of Ryan has shifted the debate to Medicare and whether Americans want the government making their healthcare decisions.

“I think to orthodox Democrats, the idea that people have private options is somehow frightening,” Giuliani said. “I think we do want to have that debate about who trusts people more, who trusts government more. I think their side, particularly under Obama, trusts government to make all the healthcare decisions for us. As Republicans, we would like to see individuals making some of those healthcare decisions.”

Welcome home little girl ... Thanks Ramey H.!

Lesson
-
Recently, while I was working in the flower beds in the front yard, my neighbors stopped to chat as they returned home from walking their dog.
-
During our friendly conversation, I asked their 12 year old daughter what she wanted to be when she grows up. She said she wanted to be President some day.
-
Both of her parents - liberal Democrats - were standing there, so I asked her, "If you were President what would be the first thing you would do?"

She replied, "I'd give food and houses to all the homeless people."
-
Her parents beamed with pride!
-
"Wow...what a worthy goal!" I said. "But you don't have to wait until you're President to do that!" I told her.
-
"What do you mean?" she replied.
-
So I told her, "You can come over to my house and mow the lawn, pull weeds, and trim my hedge, and I'll pay you $50. Then you can go over to the grocery store where the homeless guy hangs out, and you can give him the $50 to use toward food and a new house."
-
She thought that over for a few seconds, then she looked me straight in the eye and asked, "Why doesn't the homeless guy come over and do the work, and you can just pay him the $50?"
-
I said, "Welcome to the Republican Party."
-
Her parents aren't speaking to me anymore.

Lifetime of Democracies ... Thanks Nita E.!

In 1887 Alexander Tyler, a Scottish history professor at the University of Edinburgh, had this to say about the fall of the Athenian Republic some 2,000 years prior: "A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government.. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse over loose fiscal policy, (which is) always followed by a dictatorship."

"The average age of the world's greatest civilizations from the beginning of history, has been about 200 years. During those 200 years, these nations always progressed through the following sequence:

From bondage to spiritual faith;
From spiritual faith to great courage;
From courage to liberty;
From liberty to abundance;
From abundance to complacency;
From complacency to apathy;
From apathy to dependence;
From dependence back into bondage."
The Obituary of the United States of America follows:

Born 1776, Died 2012
It doesn't hurt to read this several times.
Professor Joseph Olson of Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota, points out some interesting facts concerning the last Presidential election:

Number of States won by: Obama: 19 McCain: 29
Square miles of land won by: Obama: 580,000 McCain: 2,427,000
Population of counties won by: Obama: 127 million McCain: 143 million
Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by: Obama: 13.2 McCain: 2.1

Professor Olson adds: "In aggregate, the map of the territory McCain won was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of the country.

Obama territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in low income tenements and living off various forms of government welfare..."

Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the
"complacency and apathy" phase of Professor Tyler's definition of democracy, with some forty percent of the nation's population already having reached the "governmental dependency" phase.

If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million criminal invaders called illegal's - and they vote - then we can say goodbye to the USA in fewer than five years.

If you are in favor of this, then by all means, delete this message.

If you are not, then pass this along to help everyone realize just how much is at stake, knowing that apathy is the greatest danger to our freedom..

This is truly scary for our children and their children!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
