Welcome
Welcome to my blog http://www.skegley.blogspot.com/ . CAVEAT LECTOR- Let the reader beware. This is a Christian Conservative blog. It is not meant to offend anyone. Please feel free to ignore this blog, but also feel free to browse and comment on my posts! You may also scroll down to respond to any post.
For Christian American readers of this blog:
I wish to incite all Christians to rise up and take back the United States of America with all of God's manifold blessings. We want the free allowance of the Bible and prayers allowed again in schools, halls of justice, and all governing bodies. We don't seek a theocracy until Jesus returns to earth because all men are weak and power corrupts the very best of them.
We want to be a kinder and gentler people without slavery or condescension to any.
The world seems to be in a time of discontent among the populace. Christians should not fear. God is Love, shown best through Jesus Christ. God is still in control. All Glory to our Creator and to our God!
A favorite quote from my good friend, Jack Plymale, which I appreciate:
"Wars are planned by old men,in council rooms apart. They plan for greater armament, they map the battle chart, but: where sightless eyes stare out, beyond life's vanished joys, I've noticed, somehow, all the dead and mamed are hardly more than boys(Grantland Rice per our mutual friend, Sarah Rapp)."
Thanks Jack!
I must admit that I do not check authenticity of my posts. If anyone can tell me of a non-biased arbitrator, I will attempt to do so more regularly. I know of no such arbitrator for the internet.

Gray Brigade, Seniors ... Thx Sarah R!

Are we old geezers? Hmmm, just read on.
The typical U.S. household headed by a person age 65 or older has a net
worth 47 times
greater than a household headed by someone under 35, according to an
analysis of census
data released Monday.
They like to refer to us as senior citizens, old fogies, geezers, and in
some cases dinosaurs.
Some of us are "Baby Boomers" getting ready to retire. Others have been
retired for some
time.
We walk a little slower these days and our eyes and hearing are not what
they once were.
We worked hard, raised our children, worshiped our God and grown old
together.
In school we studied English, history, math, and science which enabled us
to lead America
into the technological age.
We are probably considered old fashioned and out-dated by many. But there
are a few
things you need to remember before completely writing us off.
We won World War II, fought in Korea and Viet Nam. We can quote The
Pledge of
Allegiance, and know where to place our hand while doing so. We wore the
uniform of
our country with pride and lost many friends on the battlefield. We didn't
fight for the Socialist
States of America ; we fought for the "Land of the Free and the Home of
the Brave." We wore
different uniforms but carried the same flag.
We know the words to the Star Spangled Banner, America, and America the
Beautiful by
heart, and you may even see some tears running down our cheeks as we
sing.
Yes, we are old and slow these days but rest assured, we have at least
one good fight left
in us. We have loved this country, fought for it, and died for it, and
now we are going to save
it. It is our country and nobody is going to take it away from us.
We took oaths to defend America against all enemies, foreign and
domestic, and that is an
oath we plan to keep.
There are those who want to destroy this land we love but, like our
founders, there is no way
we are going to remain silent.
It was mostly the young people of this nation who elected Obama and the
Democratic Congress.
You fell for the "Hope and Change" which in reality was nothing but "Hype
and Lies."
Many of those who fell for the "Great Lie" in 2008 are now having buyer's
remorse. With all the
education we gave you, you didn't have sense enough to see through the
lies and instead drank the
'Kool-Aid.' Now you're paying the price and complaining about it. No jobs,
lost mortgages,
higher taxes and less freedom.
This is what you voted for and this is what you got. We entrusted you with
the Torch of Liberty.
Well, don't worry youngsters, the Grey-Haired Brigade is here and in 2016
we are going to
take back our nation. We may drive a little slower than you would like but
we get to where
we're going and in 2016 we're going to the polls by the millions.
This land does not belong to the man in the White House. It belongs to
"We the People"
and "We the People" plan to reclaim our land and our freedom.
We hope this time you will do a better job of preserving it and passing
it along to our
grandchildren. So the next time you have the chance to say the Pledge of
Allegiance, stand up,
put your hand over your heart, honor our country and thank God for the
old geezers of the
"Gray-Haired Brigade."
Footnote:
This is spot on. I am another Gray-Haired Geezer signing on. I will
circulate this to other
Gray-Haired Geezers all over this once great county.
Can you feel the ground shaking???
It's not an earthquake, it is a STAMPEDE.

Facts are FactsI want adults and children to understand this regarding MUSLIMS.CAN MUSLIMS BE GOOD AMERICANS?This is very interesting and we all need to read it from start tofinish. And send it on to everyone. Maybe this is why our AmericanMuslims are so quiet and not speaking out about any atrocities. Can a good Muslim be a good American?Theologically - no.Because his allegiance is to Allah, The moon god of Arabia.Religiously - no.Because no other religion is accepted by his Allah except Islam.(Quran,2:256)(Koran)Scripturally - no.Because his allegiance is to the five Pillars of Islam and the Quran.Geographically - no.Because his allegiance is to Mecca, to which he turns in prayer fivetimes a day.Socially - no.Because his allegiance to Islam forbids him to make friends withChristians or Jews.Politically - no.Because he must submit to the mullahs (spiritual leaders), who teachannihilation of Israel and destruction of America, the great Satan.Domestically - no.Because he is instructed to marry four women and beat and scourge hiswife when she disobeys him.(Quran 4:34)Intellectually - no.Because he cannot accept the American Constitution since it is based onBiblical principles and he believes the Bible to be corrupt.Philosophically - no.Because Islam, Muhammad, and the Quran do not allow freedom of religionand expression. Democracy and Islam cannot co-exist. Every Muslimgovernment is either dictatorial or autocratic.Spiritually - no.Because when we declare 'one nation underGod,' The Christian's God is loving and kind, while Allah is NEVERreferred to as Heavenly father, nor is he ever called love in theQuran's 99 excellent names. Therefore, after much study and deliberation...Perhaps we should bevery suspicious of ALL MUSLIMS in this country. They obviously cannotbe both 'good' Muslims and 'good' Americans. Call it what you wish,it's still the truth. You had better believe it. The more whounderstand this, the better it will be for our country and our future. The religious war is bigger than we know or understand!Footnote:The Muslims have said they will destroy us from within.SO FREEDOM IS NOT FREE.The Military wants this message to roll all over the U.S.Please don't delete this until you send it on.
