I received this from an acquaintance in OH and don't know who really who wrote this, but interesting analogy 

Ok, I broke into your house - so what? A lady wrote and sent the following letter to the Editor of her local newspaper. She should be asked to moderate the discussion on the question of Immigration. How would the networks react? She is more rational than all the "talking heads" on network TV and probably more than half of our Congress.     Her point: Recently large demonstrations have taken place across the country protesting the fact that Congress is finally addressing the issue of illegal immigration. Certain people are angry that the US might protect its own borders, might make it harder to sneak into this country and, once here, to stay indefinitely. Let me see if I correctly understand the thinking behind these protests.  Let's say I break into your house.   Let's say that when you discover me in your house, you insist that I leave. But I say, 'No! I like it here. It's better than my house. I've made all the beds and washed the dishes and did the laundry and swept the floors. I've done all the things you don't like to do. I'm hard-working and honest (except for when I broke into your house). According to the protesters: You are Required to let me stay in your house You are Required to feed me You are Required to add me to your family's insurance plan You are Required to Educate my kids You are Required to Provide other benefits to me & to my family My husband will do all of your yard work because he is also hard-working and honest. (except for that breaking in part). If you try to call the police or force me out, I will call my friends who will picket your house carrying signs that proclaim my RIGHT to be there. It's only fair, after all, because you have a nicer house than I do, and I'm just trying to better myself. I'm a hard-working and honest, person, except for well, you know, I did break into your house And what a deal it is for me!!! I live in your house, contributing only a fraction of the cost of my keep, and there is nothing you can do about it without being accused of cold, uncaring, selfish, prejudiced, and bigoted behavior.  Oh yeah, and I DEMAND that you learn MY LANGUAGE!!! so that you can communicate with me. Why can't people see how ridiculous this is?! America is populated and governed by idiots.   If you agree, pass it on (in English). If not blow it off.........  along with your future Social Security funds and a lot of the former benefits of being an American Citizen

          A Story about a Eagle named Freedom and a Spiritual Friend Jeff

 

This is the kind of story you need when  it seems like the world is spiraling out of control. Not many people get a picture of this proud bird snuggled up next to them!  Freedom and Jeff  Freedom and I have been together 11 years this summer.   She came in as a baby in 1998 with two broken wings.   Her left wing doesn't open all the way even after surgery,  it was broken in 4 places.  She's my baby.   When Freedom came in, she could not stand and both wings were broken.  She was emaciated and covered in lice..   We made the decision to give her a chance at life, so I took her to the vet's office.  From then on, I was always around her.   We had her in a huge dog carrier with the top off, and it was loaded up with shredded newspaper for her to lay in.  I used to sit and talk to her, urging her to live, to fight;  and she would lay there looking at me with those big brown eyes.  We also had to tube feed her for weeks.   This went on for 4-6 weeks, and by then she still couldn't stand.  It got to the point where the decision was made to euthanize her if she couldn't stand in a week.   You know you don't want to cross that line between torture and rehab, and it looked like death She was going to be put down that Friday, and I was supposed to come in on that Thursday afternoon.. I didn't want to go to the center that Thursday, because I couldn't bear the thought of her being euthanized; but I went anyway, and when I walked in everyone was grinning from ear to ear.   I went immediately back to her cage; and there she was, standing on her own, a big beautiful eagle. She was ready to live. I was just about in tears by then. That was a very good day. We knew she could never fly, so the director asked me to glove train her.   I got her used to the glove, and then to jesses, and we started doing education programs for schools in western Washington.   We wound up in the newspapers, radio (believe it or not) and some TV.  Miracle Pets even did a show about us.   In the spring of 2000, I was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.  I had stage 3, which is not good (one major organ plus everywhere), so I wound up doing 8 months of chemo.  Lost the hair - the whole bit. I missed a lot of work.   When I felt good enough, I would go to Sarvey and take Freedom out for walks. Freedom would also come to me in my dreams and help me fight the cancer. This happened time and time again.   Fast forward to November 2000. The day after Thanksgiving, I went in for my last checkup. I was told that if the cancer was not all gone after 8 rounds of chemo, then my last option was a stem cell transplant.   Anyway, they did the tests; and I had to come back  Monday for the results. I went in Monday,  and I was told that all the cancer was gone.  So the first thing I did was get up to Sarvey and take the big girl out for a walk. It was misty and cold. I went to her flight and jessed her up, and we went out front to the top of the hill.   I hadn't said a word to Freedom, but somehow she knew.  She looked at me and wrapped both her wings around me to where I could feel them pressing in on my back (I was engulfed in eagle wings), and she touched my nose with her beak and stared into my eyes, and we just stood there like that for I don't know how long.   That was a magic moment.. We have been soul mates ever since we came in. This is a very special bird.  On a side note:  I have had people who were sick come up to us when we are out, and Freedom has some kind of hold on them   I once had a guy who was terminal come up to us and I let him hold her. His knees just about buckled and he swore he could feel her power course through his body. I have so many stories like that.   I never forget the honor I have of being so close to such a magnificent spirit as Freedom!! Hope you enjoyed this! Bill O'Reilly may be content with his current status.  We miss him a lot on Fox.  He had a special brashness and intelligence that made the entire Fox system better.  He should have connections to make an even better system or to buy Fox from the Murdock son Hacks and get the conservative news back on TV at its conservative best!

It just isn't the same; however, it could be.

Go DONALD! Trump Just Ended Obama’s Vacation Scam
And Sent Him A Bill You Have To See To Believe

He was going to stick us for 2.1 billion or so.

Before Obama left office,
he arranged with the State Department for a series of “official visits” to foreign countries,
spanning the next 20 years.

Using discretionary funds from the Office of Presidential Visits and Vacations,
Obama was able to weasel what would have been another $2.1 billion in free vacations
for him and up to 24 members of his family plus staff and a dog sitter until the year 2036.

He would have, that is, had he not lost his office to Donald Trump.

Trump, who is always looking for ways to save money,
was having the office used for vacations repainted
when he was presented with a ledger that contained all of the Obama travel plans and expenses.

The ledger was found by one of the 31 workers Trump hired from outside the typical White House staff
to make alterations requiring specialized craftsmen

Trump immediately canceled the plans
and recalled all Secret Service agents scheduled to protect the Obamas
anywhere outside of the United States 

The Obamas, who are still waiting in Kenya for their documents,
so they can re-enter the country,
are also facing another new challenge at the hands of Trump.

They’re going to have to repay the government for all of those vacations that weren’t official state business.

The bill, after some small allowances, for days that were possibly work related, is for $214 million.

Of the 692 days the Obamas spent on vacation, almost none included any work at all.
They ate, slept and golfed
and Michelle was given shopping allowances from the Office of Discretionary Gifting Funds,
which is supposed to be used to buy presents for visiting dignitaries.

It’s just one scandal after another with these people.
