For Christian American readers of this blog:

I wish to incite all Christians to rise up and take back the United States of America with all of God's manifold blessings. We want the free allowance of the Bible and prayers allowed again in schools, halls of justice, and all governing bodies. We don't seek a theocracy until Jesus returns to earth because all men are weak and power corrupts the very best of them.
We want to be a kinder and gentler people without slavery or condescension to any.

The world seems to be in a time of discontent among the populace. Christians should not fear. God is Love, shown best through Jesus Christ. God is still in control. All Glory to our Creator and to our God!

A favorite quote from my good friend, Jack Plymale, which I appreciate:

"Wars are planned by old men,in council rooms apart. They plan for greater armament, they map the battle chart, but: where sightless eyes stare out, beyond life's vanished joys, I've noticed, somehow, all the dead and mamed are hardly more than boys(Grantland Rice per our mutual friend, Sarah Rapp)."

Thanks Jack!

I must admit that I do not check authenticity of my posts. If anyone can tell me of a non-biased arbitrator, I will attempt to do so more regularly. I know of no such arbitrator for the internet.

Limbaugh Knows the "whistle blower, an Obama holdover in thre Whitehouse

Rush Limbaugh left listeners speechless when he revealed how he knew the whistleblower

The identity of the so-called “whistleblower” is one of the biggest mysteries of the phony Ukraine scandal.
But Rush Limbaugh dropped a major bombshell that provide a major break in the case.
And Rush Limbaugh left listeners speechless when he revealed how he knew the whistleblower.
Paul Sperry’s report on Real Clear Investigations claiming 33 year old Obama Deep State operative Eric Ciaramella was allegedly the whistleblower turned the impeachment investigation upside down.
Sperry claimed Ciaramella was one of the key figures that helped spread the Russian collusion hoax and given his links to the Obama Deep State and former Vice President Joe Biden it became clear the allegations made by the so-called “whistleblower” were nothing more than a partisan smear designed to bring down Donald Trump.
Limbaugh discussed this report on his program and after claiming that Ciaramella looked like the Obamacare “pajama boy”, Limbaugh said he must have seen Ciaramella slinking around the White House on the occasions Limbaugh visited the Oval Office.
Limbaugh stated:
This whistleblower… He’s not a whistleblower! This is another thing. This guy’s a leaker! He’s not a whistleblower! His name is Eric Ciaramella. He’s 30-some-odd-years- old. I’ve got a picture. It looks like the Pajama Boy in the Obama ad that they ran back during, I think, the first term.
“Federal documents reveal that the 33-year-old Ciaramella, a registered Democrat held over from the Obama White House…” Why the hell was he still there? What do you mean, “held over”? This guy… I’ve probably seen this guy there. I’ve been to the Oval Office two or three times since Trump’s been president. I’ve been in the West Wing. I’ve probably seen this guy slithering around. It never even registered. Next time I go, I’m gonna keep a sharp eye for people I think might be John Brennan holdover plants, ’cause they’re obviously slithering all over the place.
Slinking, slithering, whatever you want to say. But that’s not even half the story. The so-called whistleblower, is 33-years-old, “a registered Democrat [Can anybody say “partisan”?] held over from the Obama White House, previously worked with former Vice President Joe Biden and former CIA Director John Brennan…” He is “a vocal critic of Trump” who – did you know what else? This guy “helped initiate the Russia ‘collusion’ investigation” which was a nothing burger!
Democrats initially loved the idea of the so-called “whistleblower” testifying.
But after it came out that Adam Schiff’s staff colluded with the so-called “whistleblower”, and Sperry revealed more details about Ciaramella’s partisan hackery, that desire evaporated.
And that was the clue to many Americans that this entire impeachment episode is a sham.
We will keep you up-to-date on any new developments in this ongoing story.

Secret Never-Trumpers plan to allow Trump's impeachment and removal fro Office.

Top Republican revealed this secret plan to betray Trump and remove him from office

Adam Schiff and the Democrats are working behind the scenes to figure out what it will take to convince Republican Senators to vote to remove Donald Trump from office.
A group of Never-Trump Senators may have one trick up their sleeve.
And a top Republican revealed this secret plan to betray Trump and remove him from office.
Juleanna Glover served as a top aide to former Vice President Dick Cheney and George W. Bush.
She also advised the Presidential campaigns of John McCain and Jeb Bush.
Glover is a die-hard Never-Trumper and revealed a secret plan Senate Republicans can use to remove the President from office.
Glover stated that since the Senate sets its own rules, it would only take three Republican Senators to break ranks and vote for rules that turn the eventual vote on impeachment into a secret ballot.
Glover wrote:
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has said he will immediately move to hold a trial to adjudicate the articles of impeachment if and when the Senate receives them from the House of Representatives. Article I, Section 3, of the Constitution does not set many parameters for the trial, except to say that “the Chief Justice shall preside,” and “no Person shall be convicted without the Concurrence of two thirds of the Members present.” That means the Senate has sole authority to draft its own rules for the impeachment trial, without judicial or executive branch oversight.
During the last impeachment of a president, Bill Clinton, the rules were hammered out by Democrats and Republicans in a collaborative process, as then Senate leaders Trent Lott and Tom Daschle recently pointed out in a Washington Post op-ed. The rules passed unanimously. That’s unlikely this time, given the polarization that now defines our politics. McConnell and his fellow Republicans are much more likely to dictate the rules with little input from Democrats.
But, according to current Senate procedure, McConnell will still need a simple majority—51 of the 53 Senate Republicans—to support any resolution outlining rules governing the trial. That means that if only three Republican senators were to break from the caucus, they could block any rule they didn’t like. (Vice President Mike Pence can’t break ties in impeachment matters.) Those three senators, in turn, could demand a secret ballot and condition their approval of the rest of the rules on getting one.
Glover piggybacked on a theory floated by Never-Trump Senator Jeff Flake that 35 Republican Senators would vote to remove the President from office if the vote was secret.
Three Republican Senators declined to sign on to a resolution slamming Democrats for running a rigged impeachment process — Susan Collins (ME), Lisa Murkowski (AK), and Mitt Romney (UT).
Those would be the likely three suspects to sign on to any scheme to rig the rules against the President.
We will keep you up-to-date on any new developments in this ongoing story.

Hillbilly Elegy Book Review

HILLBILLY ELEGY BY J.D. VANCE BOOK REVIEW

When this book was picked for book club, I was skeptical. It just isn’t something I would pick up on my own. Judging from the description, I assumed this book would be filled with extreme right-wing political rhetoric. I’m more of a middle-of-the-road person, with the exception of my feminist leanings, and extreme point of views on either side turn me off. But that’s not what I got with Hillbilly Elegy.
J.D. Vance discusses his Kentuckian roots and upbringing. He reaches far back to before he was born, delving into the great migration of Kentuckian hillbillies to Ohio, which included his grandparents. They migrated to escape a suffering economy and for other reasons. They worked hard and did well, achieving the middle-class dream.  His mother, on the other hand, didn’t fare as well despite having many of things her parents did not as a child.
“Not all of the white working class struggles. I knew even as a child that there were two separate sets of mores and social pressures. My grandparents embodied one type: old-fashioned, quietly faithful, self-reliant, hardworking. My mother and, increasingly, the entire neighborhood embodied another: consumerist, isolated, angry, distrustful.”
Vance goes on to explain growing up in a broken home: his mother and her many men, his mother’s drug and alcohol problem, father and step-fathers coming and going, doing poorly in school, his mother being arrested – on more than one occasion.  The neighborhoods that used to thrive were in a state of descent and the jobs that were plentiful were being lost to mine and factory closings. He might have become another disillusioned youth if it weren’t for the intervention of his grandparents. He eventually went to live with them, and his life improved. His grades went up and he found a path out of his dying neighborhood.
“In other words, despite all of the environmental pressures from my neighborhood and community, I received a different message at home. And that just might have saved me.”
Vance joined the military and dedicated four years of his life. Using the GI Bill after discharge, he went to college, graduating at the top of his class. Unbelievably, he got accepted into Yale Law School.
“Yale Law School was like nerd Hollywood, and I never stopped feeling like an awestruck tourist.”
There he found himself to be the exception. His peers never knew the problems he faced as a child. They were the sons and daughters of politicians, doctors, and lawyers. He was a hillbilly with a thick accent, had fought overseas, and had no knowledge of dinner etiquette. He wanted to belong, and often lied about his roots.
Throughout the book he ponders on the white working class and why so many of them in the rust belt and Appalachia seem to be struggling.
“It would be years before I learned that no single book, or expert, or field could fully explain the problems of hillbillies in modern America. Our elegy is a sociological one, yes, but it is also about psychology and community and culture and faith.”
Vance makes some political statements such as wondering why he can’t afford more food while working several jobs on his way up the ladder, but watching someone on food stamps buy steak. In the same pages, he notes that the ones who say they are working, aren’t really working and blaming everything on Obama for shutting down the mines. His views aren’t extreme right or left as he notes problems along the full political spectrum.
“There is a cultural movement in the white working class to blame problems on society or the government, and that movement gains adherents by the day.”
“I don’t know what the answer is, precisely, but I know it starts when we stop blaming Obama or Bush or faceless companies and ask ourselves what we can do to make things better.”
A glaring issue for me is that J.D. Vance claims to be a hillbilly. He had a tough upbringing and he didn’t schmooze with the east coast elites, but a hillbilly he was not. He spent time with his extended family back in Kentucky, but he didn’t grow up there. He grew up in a middle-class broken home, like many all across the nation did. He feels connected to his hillbilly roots because of his lineage. You could say he’s trans-hillbilly. (chuckles)
Hillbilly Elegy is a great read for anyone but I really believe that this book would be extremely beneficial to teenagers and young adults just starting out in life.
