The libs are like the ostrich with their heads in the sand. They don't want to believe their leader is so unattached to American values.
From Fox news... January 3 NEWS Alert!!!
I'll be tuned in.....this may be big if it is true....
DO NOT MISS THIS COMING SUNDAY NIGHTJanuary 3 @ 8PM Central Time; 9PM Eastern Time.
FORGET BEING DEMOCRAT or REPUBLICAN!
Maybe this is why the White House has been discounting FOX!!!
Sounds like this could be History in the making.
It's possible someone is going to go down -- either Obama or Fox News.
It may be that Fox has been holding this information back due to the sensitivity of it and out of courtesy. But, Obama has taken on Fox and it appears they are ready to spill the ugly beans of truth about the background of this individual who has had an extremely radical past. I'm not going to miss it and I hope you won't either. This could/should prove to be very, very interesting!
This Sunday, Fox News, is going to air a very important documentary about Barack Obama, Sunday night at8 PM Central Time; 9 PM Eastern Time..
The report will go back to Obama's earlier days, showing even then his close ties to radical Marxist professors, friends, spiritual advisers, etc..
It will also reveal details about his ties to Rev. Wright for +20 years i.e. how he was participating with this man, and not for the reasons he states!
The report has uncovered more of Obama's radical past and we will see things that no one in the media is willing to put out there. It will be a segment to remember.
Mark your calendar and pass this on to everyone you know: Sunday night: 8 PM Central time; 9 PM Eastern time.
Democrat or Republican, this report will open your eyes to how YOUR country is being sold down the road to Totalitarian Socialism
If you care about the direction of our country, pass this notice on to everyone you know.

Welcome to my blog http://www.skegley.blogspot.com/ . CAVEAT LECTOR- Let the reader beware. This is a Christian Conservative blog. It is not meant to offend anyone. Please feel free to ignore this blog, but also feel free to browse and comment on my posts! You may also scroll down to respond to any post.
For Christian American readers of this blog:
I wish to incite all Christians to rise up and take back the United States of America with all of God's manifold blessings. We want the free allowance of the Bible and prayers allowed again in schools, halls of justice, and all governing bodies. We don't seek a theocracy until Jesus returns to earth because all men are weak and power corrupts the very best of them.
We want to be a kinder and gentler people without slavery or condescension to any.
The world seems to be in a time of discontent among the populace. Christians should not fear. God is Love, shown best through Jesus Christ. God is still in control. All Glory to our Creator and to our God!
A favorite quote from my good friend, Jack Plymale, which I appreciate:
"Wars are planned by old men,in council rooms apart. They plan for greater armament, they map the battle chart, but: where sightless eyes stare out, beyond life's vanished joys, I've noticed, somehow, all the dead and mamed are hardly more than boys(Grantland Rice per our mutual friend, Sarah Rapp)."
Thanks Jack!
I must admit that I do not check authenticity of my posts. If anyone can tell me of a non-biased arbitrator, I will attempt to do so more regularly. I know of no such arbitrator for the internet.

Burnt bisquits- Thanks Lou Flores!
Burnt Biscuits - Besides they give you rosie cheeks!
When I was a kid, my mom liked to make breakfast food for dinner every now and then. And I remember one night in particular when she had made breakfast after a long, hard day at work.
On that evening so long ago, my mom placed a plate of eggs, sausage and extremely burned biscuits in front of my dad. I remember waiting to see if anyone noticed! Yet all my dad did was reach for his biscuit, smile at my mom and ask me how my day was at school. I don't remember what I told him that night, but I do remember watching him smear butter and jelly on that biscuit and eat every bite!
When I got up from the table that evening, I remember hearing my mom apologize to my dad for burning the biscuits. And I'll never forget what he said: "Honey, I love burned biscuits."
Later that night, I went to kiss Daddy good night and I asked him if he really liked his biscuits burned. He wrapped me in his arms and said, "Your Momma put in a hard day at work today and she's real tired. And besides - a little burnt biscuit never hurt anyone!"
Life is full of imperfect things.....and imperfect people. I'm not the best at hardly anything, and I forget birthdays and anniversaries just like everyone else. But what I've learned over the years is that learning to accept each others faults - and choosing to celebrate each others differences - is one of the most important keys to creating a healthy, growing, and lasting relationship.
And that's my prayer for you today. That you will learn to take the good, the bad, and the ugly parts of your life and lay them at the feet of God. Because in the end, He's the only One who will be able to give you a relationship where a burnt biscuit isn't a deal-breaker!
We could extend this to any relationship. In fact, understanding is the base of any relationship, be it a husband-wife or parent-child or friendship!
"Don't put the key to your happiness in someone else's pocket - keep it in your own."
God Bless You..... Now, and Always....
So Please pass me a biscuit, and yes, the burnt one will do just fine..!.!.!.! And PLEASE pass this along to someone who has enriched your life.... I just did!

Jeanie noted a 30 day extension in Time Warner and Fox negotiations
Jeanie noticed a report that there is a 30 day extensionm to the contract between Fox and Time Warner cable. Otherwise, I would have been investigating 'other' cable coverage beginning today. If TWC loses Fox, they certainly will lose me as a customer.

Table next to me had a couple of UL fans...
"Kentucky is talented and they are pretty good but they are not very consistent. I think if we can keep them from having a run we will be ok."
I just smiled to myself.
Inconsistent? What is that number in our loss column again?
And it was interesting that they were discussing the strategy of trying to get Cousins and Wall into foul trouble to have a chance in the game. I was only picking up parts of it but it was something like, "If we can make them sit for 15 minutes of the first half then we should be ok".
Of course, this is just fan speak but it was interesting to hear the same words coming out of their mouths that has been discussed here.
This IS a rivalry game, so you never really know...
...but I am not TOO worried about it.

Actually Dan, that "number" in our loss column isn't really a number at all. It's the absence of a number, which is really good.

lol, that's hilarious. This team isn't inconsistent. They just go on spurts of scoring. Reminds me of the 96 team. Go on a Run, then just coast along, go on a run, then coast.

Thanks Dan. It is always interesting to hear filthy cards talk.
As Coach Cal repeats always though- one game at a time. I have always been in that corner.
I want our Cats to walk the walk tomorrow especially! Sportsmanship is fine but they are dirty birds.
You are sharp WildcatDan to just de-sypher their conversation. Oops! Coach Cal wants us on the high road.
From a low percentage UK fan who could ever be against RP, as he proclaimed while accepting the lowly L job.
Go Cats!
Go Cal!

CAT Thanks Doug Brooke
This makes me very sad.
My cat sleeps about 20 hours a day. She has her food prepared for her. She can eat whenever she wants, 24/7/365. Her meals are provided at no cost to her. She visits the Dr. once a year for her checkup, and again during the year if any medical needs arise. For this she pays nothing, and nothing is required of her. She lives in a nice neighborhood in a house that is much larger than she needs, but she is not required to do any upkeep. If she makes a mess, someone else cleans it up. She has her choice of luxurious places to sleep. She receives these accommodations absolutely free. She is living like a queen, and has absolutely no expenses whatsoever. All of her costs are picked up by others who go out and earn a living every day. I was just thinking about all this, and suddenly it hit me like a brick in the head, Holy crap, my cat is a democrat!

Thanks John M. Bayer's crystal Aspirin and heart attack
Something that we can do to help ourselves. Nice to know.....
Bayer is making crystal aspirin to dissolve under the tongue. They work much faster than the tablets.
Why keep aspirin by your bedside? About Heart Attacks
There are other symptoms of an heart attack besides the pain in the left arm. One must also be aware of an intense pain on the chin, as well as nausea and lots of sweating, however these symptoms may also occur less frequently. Note: There may be NO pain in the chest during a heart attack. The majority of people (about 60%) who had a heart attack during their sleep, did not wake up. However, if it occurs, the chest pain may wake you up from your deep sleep.
If that happens, immediately dissolve two aspirins in your mouth and swallow them with a bit of water. Afterwards: - phone a neighbor or a family member who lives very close by - say "heart attack!" - say that you have taken 2 aspirins.. - take a seat on a chair or sofa near the front door, and wait for their arrival and... ~ Do NOT lie down ~ A Cardiologist has stated that, if each person, after receiving this e-mail, sends it to 10 people, probably one life can be saved!
I have already shared the information- - What about you?
Do forward this message; it may save lives!
