For Christian American readers of this blog:

I wish to incite all Christians to rise up and take back the United States of America with all of God's manifold blessings. We want the free allowance of the Bible and prayers allowed again in schools, halls of justice, and all governing bodies. We don't seek a theocracy until Jesus returns to earth because all men are weak and power corrupts the very best of them.
We want to be a kinder and gentler people without slavery or condescension to any.

The world seems to be in a time of discontent among the populace. Christians should not fear. God is Love, shown best through Jesus Christ. God is still in control. All Glory to our Creator and to our God!

A favorite quote from my good friend, Jack Plymale, which I appreciate:

"Wars are planned by old men,in council rooms apart. They plan for greater armament, they map the battle chart, but: where sightless eyes stare out, beyond life's vanished joys, I've noticed, somehow, all the dead and mamed are hardly more than boys(Grantland Rice per our mutual friend, Sarah Rapp)."

Thanks Jack!

I must admit that I do not check authenticity of my posts. If anyone can tell me of a non-biased arbitrator, I will attempt to do so more regularly. I know of no such arbitrator for the internet.

Tax Returns ... Thx Lyle S!

Tax Returns

I don't know if this happened, but it could----
Sarah is really sharp!
During a recent press conference, a reporter with MSNBC hollered from the press corps, "Where is President Trump hiding his tax returns?"

Press Secretary, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, astutely responded, "We've found a very secure
place and I'm certain they won't be found."

"And just where is that?", said the reporter, sarcastically.

Mrs. Sanders grinned sardonically and said, "They are underneath Obama's
college records, his passportapplication, his immigration status as a student, his funding sources to pay for college, his college records, and his Selective Service registration..

"Next question?"

Bill O'Reilly's "A Tale of One Speech" ... Thx Bill O!

Welcome back, Sam! Thanks for being a P.M.
A Tale of One Speech
By: BillOReilly.com StaffSeptember 21, 2017
President Trump "borders on the threat of committing a war crime."
No, President Trump was "bold and courageous and forthright."
Same speech, two wildly different reactions.  The first is from Terry Moran, an ABC News correspondent who is as unabashedly biased as anyone on the air.  The other is from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, whose nation is under constant existential threat.
To quote Groucho Marx, "Who ya gonna believe?"
If we are a polarized nation, and we are, President Trump's speech to the United Nations General Assembly provided more stark evidence.
Left-wing journalists, pardon the redundancy, generally loathed the president's forthrightness regarding North Korea, Iran, and Venezuela.
Brian Fallon, a former Hillary Clinton mouthpiece now paid by CNN to hammer the president, described it as "intellectually confused if not outright incoherent."  NBC's Andrea Mitchell called it "bombastic," while MSNBC guest Lawrence Wilkerson blasted it as "the most atrocious speech I've ever heard an American president give in any venue."  Really, the "most atrocious ever?"  Wow!
On the right, Trump's tough talk won widespread praise, perhaps best summarized by former United Nations Ambassador John Bolton.  "This was the best speech of the Trump presidency," he declared, adding that President Trump "was as clear and direct as it is possible to be."
Putting aside the speech and its merits or flaws, the post-game analysis provides a clear look at America in the age of Trump.  Whatever he does, whatever he says, the president's supporters support, his critics criticize.  It's just what they do.
When the president refered to Kim Jong Un as "Rocket Man," his voters snickered and brushed it off as harmless humor.  But his legion of enemies acted as if President Trump dropped the verbal version of a hydrogen bomb directly on Pyongyang
When President Trump met with Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer to discuss DACA and the so-called "dreamers," his supporters gave him the benefit of the doubt.  But left-wingers went as ballistic as Kim Jong Un, questioning how any Democrat could possibly talk with and "normalize" the president.  You probably saw the amusing scene where Pelosi was shouted down by immigrants, normally her most reliable constituents.  Simply because she spoke with the president of the United States.
President Trump's approval rating, according to a new poll by Politico/Morning Consult, has ticked up to 43%, and he remains very popular among four in five Republican voters.  But Democrats really, really dislike the guy.  In the latest Gallup daily tracking poll, a whopping 9% of Dems approve of President Trump's performance.  He is presumably less popular among liberal Democrats than Venezuela's President Maduro.
Unfortunately, all of this is unlikely to change very much.  The liberal media, which means pretty much all of the media, will continue to harp on the president's shortcomings.  If the administration does something well, as it apparently has after the hurricanes in Texas and Florida, you will not hear much about it.
Hollywood will continue to bash the president at every awards show, ratings be damned.  Just this week Ellen DeGeneres declared that the president of the United States, the leader of the free world, is forever banned from her talk show.  Why?  Because he's "dangerous" to the country and the world.  Will Ellen be asking prospective guests if they voted for this dangerous man?
Barring some unifying event such as war or an act of terror, this unhealthy and unprecedented polarization will likely continue for four or eight years, as long as the loved-and-loathed Donald Trump resides in the White House.
You knew this would be a very bumpy ride, so you probably buckled up a long time ago.  But it's worth double-checking your air bags as well.  It's getting bumpier out there by the day.

From the article above: "this unhealthy and unprecedented polarization will likely continue for four or eight years, as long as the loved-and-loathed Donald Trump resides in the White House". This polarization will be going on until our Country breaks apart. I know a Lutheran Minister. I am not Lutheran. This Minister stated to me that liberalism is evil and it is! To bash everything that Trump does or says, even if it is for the good of the Country, is ludicrous!

What happened to make the left and that is just about all the media so stunted in their ideology? Absolutely bereft of any reasoning.

The power of the American model was the understanding between the Republican and Democrats that the constitution was out of bound. Today the Democrats could not care less about the constitution. The Democrats intend to deal with any federal laws as they see fit. This means that once the opposition access to the presidency or the control of congress, the first 2 years of this power grab will be spent reversing the preceding party in power. Bill you are right, hang on to your seat belt and check your air bag!!!???

Important car owner Info ... Thx Paul C!

Subject: FW: Shell Oil Co. - DO NOT DELETE.. IMPORTANT INFORMATION!
FOR ALL WHO HAVE A CAR...

Please
send this information to ALL your family & friends, especially those
who  have kids in the car with them while pumping gas.
If this
were to happen, they may not be able to get the children out in time.

Shell Oil
Comments  -  A MUST READ...
Safety
Alert
Here are
some reasons why we don't allow cell phones in operating areas, propylene oxide
handling and storage area, propane, gas and diesel refueling areas..

The Shell Oil Company recently issued a warning after three incidents in which
mobile phones (cell phones) ignited fumes during fueling operations.

In the first case, the phone was placed on the car's trunk lid
during fueling; it rang and the ensuing fire destroyed the car and the gasoline
pump.

In the second, an individual suffered severe burns to their face
when fumes ignited as they answered a call while refueling their car!

And in the third, an individual suffered burns to the thigh and
groin as fumes ignited when the phone, which was in their pocket, rang while
they were fueling their car.

You
should know that Mobile Phones can ignite fuel or fumes.  Mobile phones
that light up when switched on or when they ring release enough energy to
provide a spark for ignition.

Mobile
phones should not be used in filling stations, or when fueling lawn mowers,
boat, etc.

Mobile phones should not be used, or should be turned off, around
other materials that generate flammable or explosive fumes or dust, (i.e.,
solvents, chemicals, gases, grain dust, etc.)

To sum it
up, here are the Four Rules for Safe Refueling:

1) Turn
off engine

2) Don't smoke

3) Don't use your cell phone - leave it inside the vehicle or
turn it off

4) Don't re-enter your vehicle during fueling

Bob Renkes of Petroleum Equipment Institute is working on a campaign to try and
make people aware of fires as a result of static electricity at gas pumps. His
company has researched 150 cases of these fires.

His
results were very surprising:

1) Out of 150 cases, almost all of them were women.

2) Almost all cases involved the person getting back into their
vehicle while the nozzle was still pumping gas. When finished, they went back
to pull the nozzle out and the fire started, as a result of a static spark from
their bodies from sliding out of the vehicle .

3) Most
had on rubber-soled shoes.

4) Most
men never get back in their vehicle until completely finished. This is why they
are seldom involved in these types of fires.

5) Don't ever
use cell phones when pumping gas

6) It is
the vapors that come out of the gas that cause the fire, when connected with
static charges.

7) There were 29 fires where the vehicle was re-entered and the nozzle was
touched during refueling from a variety of makes and models. Some resulted in
extensive damage to the vehicle, to the station, and to the customer .

8) Seventeen fires occurred before, during or immediately after the gas cap was
removed and before fueling began.

Mr..
Renkes stresses you should NEVER get back into your vehicle while filling it
with gas. If you absolutely HAVE to get into your vehicle while the gas is
pumping, make sure you get out, close the door TOUCHING THE METAL, before you
ever pull the nozzle out.

This way
the static from your body will be discharged before you ever remove the nozzle.

As I mentioned earlier, companies now are really trying to make the public
aware of this danger.

I ask you
to please send this information to ALL your family and friends, especially
those who have kids in the car with them while pumping gas. If this were to
happen to them, they may not be able to get the children out in time.

Thanks
for passing this
along.

Newt Gingrich Analyzes President Trump's UN Speech ... Thx FoxNews.com!

Newt Gingrich: President Trump's UN address reasserts patriotism and sovereignty

In one of the most important speeches of his presidency, President Donald Trump has outlined a new standard for American leadership on the world stage.  This speech explains the strategy of a sovereignty based nationalism as a clear alternative to the globalist desire to submerge nations in international agreements and institutions.
In his first address to the United Nations on Tuesday, President Trump called for “a great reawakening of nations, for the revival of their spirits, their pride, their people, and their patriotism.” It was a strong, clear, decisive call for national identity as the first step to healthy and sustainable international cooperation, at a time that is critical to determining the future prosperity and safety of our world.
Now, more than ever, it is too dangerous for the United Nations to remain ineffective at keeping peace.
The United Nations’ sovereign members need to think critically about whether it is in the best interest of their citizens to allow terrorism and unstable rogue regimes, such as North Korea, Iran, and Syria to provoke chaos and death across the world.
Similar to his major foreign policy speeches in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia last spring and Warsaw, Poland this past summer, Tuesday’s speech was both historic and potentially game-changing.
The president placed intellectual clarity and emphasis on his principle that the world will be made safer when America and its allies in the United Nations work together as sovereign nations to achieve peace and security in the world – a notion which echoes the founding doctrine in the Charter of the United Nations.
This is a significant step toward breaking the United Nations out of the inefficient, bureaucratic, global government model, which has rendered the body incapable of stopping rogue nations, terrorism, and other human rights abuses for decades.
During his remarks, President Trump asked member nations, “Are we still patriots?  Do we love our nations enough to protect their sovereignty and to take ownership of their futures?  Do we revere them enough to defend their interests, preserve their cultures, and ensure a peaceful world for their citizens?”
This question was an intellectual call to arms. The United Nations’ sovereign members need to think critically about whether it is in the best interest of their citizens to allow terrorism and unstable rogue regimes, such as North Korea, Iran, and Syria to provoke chaos and death across the world.
If United Nations member states allow the likes of Kim Jong Un, Hassan Rouhani, and Bashar al-Assad to continue to possess and develop weapons of mass destruction, torment their own people, and disregard international laws, major war will become unavoidable.
In many ways, the president’s appeal was reminiscent of Winston Churchill’s warnings against European appeasement of Hitler in the years leading up to World War II.
No doubt, those on the left will condemn this speech, saying that the president’s policy of putting the interests of America and Americans before those of other nations is divergent, isolationist, and dangerous.
However, this view ignores history. Since its founding, every member of the United Nations has been expected to put the interests of its own citizens first.
When the United Nations was established in 1945 to replace the League of Nations, which had proved too ineffective to maintain peace and security in the years following World War I, there was no expectation that Great Britain would hold its own people second to the citizens of France. The leaders of China would not have been expected to put the interests of the Dutch before their own people. And Joseph Stalin knew that President Harry Truman would put America before the USSR. Any other notion would have been utterly preposterous.
My hope is that the member nations heed the president’s call, reawaken their sense of national sovereignty, and realize how critically important it is to defend their nations against a range of foreign dangers.
As President Trump said on Tuesday, “If the righteous many do not confront the wicked few, then evil will triumph.  When decent people and nations become bystanders to history, the forces of destruction only gather power and strength.”
