Sam,
This notice was in the clipping about Dick's book.
"For those who love the story of the "Waterloo Wonders",
a documentary about them is set to re-air at 8:00 P.M., November 26th PBS station, WOUB-TV.
I thought you would like to know this.
"YOU'VE NEVER HEARD AN ENGLISHMAN TELLING
A WOMAN, "YOU LOOK LIKE A MILLION POUNDS". ha ha

Thanks again, Phyllis! Dick Burdette originally wrote about the fabulous Waterloo Wonders high school basketball team out of southeastern Ohio when he was still a very young man. Per your info to me, he has re-released the book that I and so many of my friends have talked about throughout the years.
Dick, The Portsmouth Trojan basketballer played freshman basketball at Portsmouth with our good friend, Clay Vice, who later starred at Clay High School. They graduated in 1953. Dick from PHS and Clay from Clay HS. Clay played for Portsmouth's- and Cincinnati's great athlete, Don Monk, who, sadly, died at a very young age a little later.
