Subject: Lisa Beamer - wife of Todd Beamer - PLEASE SHAREThis is an excellent thought to start your day !Lisa Beamer on Good Morning America - If you remember, she's the wife of Todd Beamer who said 'Let's Roll!' andhelped take down the plane over Pennsylvania that washeading for Washington, DC back on 9/11.She said it's the little things that she misses most aboutTodd, such as hearing the garage door open as he camehome, and her children running to meet him.Lisa recalled this story:"I had a very special teacher in high school many yearsago whose husband died suddenly of a heart attack.About a week after his death, she shared some of herinsight with a classroom of students. As the late afternoonsunlight came streaming in through the classroomwindows and the class was nearly over, she moved a fewthings aside on the edge of her desk and sat down there. With a gentle look of reflection on her face, she pausedand said, 'Class is over, I would like to share with all ofyou, a thought that is unrelated to class, but which I feelis very important. Each of us is put here on earth to learn, share, love, appreciate and give of ourselves. None ofus knows when this fantastic experience will end.It can be taken away at any moment.Perhaps this is the power's way of telling us that wemust make the most out of every single day. Her eyes, beginning to water, she went on, 'So I would like you allto make me a promise. From now on, on your way to school,or on your way home, find something beautiful to notice. It doesn't have to be something you see, it could be ascent, perhaps of freshly baked bread wafting out ofsomeone's house, or it could be the sound of thebreeze slightly rustling the leaves in the trees, or theway the morning light catches one autumn leaf as itfalls gently to the ground. Please look for these things, and cherish them. For, although it may sound trite tosome, these things are the "stuff" of life. The little things we are put here on earth to enjoy. The things we often take for granted. The class was completely quiet. We all picked up ourbooks and filed out of the room silently. That afternoon,I noticed more things on my way home from school thanI had that whole semester. Every once in a while, I thinkof that teacher and remember what an impression shemade on all of us, and I try to appreciate all of thosethings that sometimes we all overlook.Take notice of something special you see on your lunchhour today. Go barefoot. Or walk on the beach at sunset.Stop off on the way home tonight to get a double dip icecream cone. For as we get older, it is not the things wedid that we often regret, but the things we didn't do.If you like this, please pass it on to a friend,if not just delete it and go on with your life!Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away."HAVE A GREAT DAY!GOD Bless you every day of your life.

For Christian American readers of this blog:
I wish to incite all Christians to rise up and take back the United States of America with all of God's manifold blessings. We want the free allowance of the Bible and prayers allowed again in schools, halls of justice, and all governing bodies. We don't seek a theocracy until Jesus returns to earth because all men are weak and power corrupts the very best of them.
We want to be a kinder and gentler people without slavery or condescension to any.
The world seems to be in a time of discontent among the populace. Christians should not fear. God is Love, shown best through Jesus Christ. God is still in control. All Glory to our Creator and to our God!
A favorite quote from my good friend, Jack Plymale, which I appreciate:
"Wars are planned by old men,in council rooms apart. They plan for greater armament, they map the battle chart, but: where sightless eyes stare out, beyond life's vanished joys, I've noticed, somehow, all the dead and mamed are hardly more than boys(Grantland Rice per our mutual friend, Sarah Rapp)."
Thanks Jack!
I must admit that I do not check authenticity of my posts. If anyone can tell me of a non-biased arbitrator, I will attempt to do so more regularly. I know of no such arbitrator for the internet.
