Look at Sen.Mary Landrieu from Louisiana and Senate candidate Larry Pressler from South Dakota. Neither Democrat lives in their home state, yet they both claim they'll represent the voters "back home." In reality, they came to Washington to set up power bases and suck money out of the system to finance their high-end, inside-Washington lifestyles in swanky houses in the most expensive city in America.
They're not about representation of the people! They're all about lining their own pockets.
