Please tolerate this 82 year old small town Ohioan for another moment. Of course, Americans are of many faiths, ethnicities, and characters. We have many likenesses and many differences. Not just north and south, east and west, black and white, but as many differences as there are among people of this world. Fortunately we passed the barbaric stages for the most part, but the hoodum barbaric are still very plural in the middle east and they are spreading.
In our politics we divided into liberal-progressive Democrats versus Conservative- Republicans (with their slight tolerance of Tea Party People like me). I am a Christian Conservative and I see beyond politics into the bigger divide of Satan vs. God. I see Satan, the fallen angel, simply as evil and the barbarians who cut of heads and bury or burn people alive as Satan's army.
I see nearly all of this Christian Nation of the USA as blessed by our loving God, for the most part. Excessive sinning is now stealing our country away. Not all of our veterans who fought to preserve our freedoms acted as Christians when at war, but somehow God blessed our nations for their winning battles over evil. Many died or were wounded in doing so. I believe God blessed this Christian Nation as He has Israel. Sometime, all Americans should look at that map of the Middle East and look at the tiny part of the Middle East which has so far opposed the evil of that area of the world. They and we Americans are loyal allies and should always remain so.
God, please continue to bless this world and let us be members of the good to abolish evil.
