Fwd: Winning in today's world
Begin forwarded message:
Date: March 15, 2017 at 9:43:32 AM EDT Subject: Fw: Winning in today's world The Will to win Unless you are willing to be as unreasonable and as brutal, as your enemy, do not engage him in a conflict -- because he will win. This old leatherneck says it better ..... Quote from a WWII veteran overhearing someone say that `You can't bomb an ideology. "The hell you can't, because we did it. These Muslims are no different than the [Imperial] Japanese. The Japs had their suicide bombers too. And we stopped them. What it takes is the resolve and will to use a level of brutality and violence that your generations can't stomach. And until you can, this shit won't stop. It took us on the beaches with bullets, clearing out caves with flame throwers, and men like Air Force Gen. Curtis LeMay burning down their cities, killing people by the tens of thousands. And then it took 2 atom bombs on top of it. Plus we had to bomb the shit out of German cities to get them to quit fighting. But, if that was what it took to win, we were willing to do it. Until you are willing to do the same...Well, I hope you enjoy this shit, because it ain't going to stop!" Back then, we had leadership, resolve, resources and determination. Today, we're afraid to hurt people's feelings....and worry about which bathroom to piss in!!!
Paul,
I am so disgusted with me. I had a message in reply; however, I inadvertently
deleted the entire message which probably took me half an hour. I don't
remember how.
Anyway, my older half-brother, Ted Dunham had me lifting sash weights when
I was 10 or 12. I came to think I was the toughest kid my age in the world. Not
too long afterwards, I became a Christian. I never wanted to hurt any thing or anyone,
as Christians shouldn't, of course. However, conflicts presented this kid (me) and I
was in situations to fight.
I recall always being nervous to the point of shaking but, of course, I didn't want
my opponent to realize I had fear. After the first couple of hits, I guess I decided I
had better win and did while very young.
In my "Excellence in Athletics in the Portsmouth Area" book (Ohio), much later, I interviewed
Mark Frazie then a retired amateur Champion boxer (3 times tri-state Champ in
Huntington, WVa).The Minford gentleman went on to win 30 of 36 professional fights
around the country.
Mark told me that he had around an eighty per cent knockout record. "I had a killer
instinct. I wasn't a bad person, I just wanted to win."
God knows what many non-believers repeatedly point out that the Bible has many
stories of war, many due to 'religion'.
I admittedly even now use too many four letter words (never intending God's defamation in any
of them, in quick anger too often; however the only thing I disagree with is the author's
use of so many four letter. words in your "Winning in Today's World" message above.
Terroristic leftists are among us in the USA and we must decide to win because they
are unreasonable and brutal. They don't want Donald Trump to win, but we
conservatives must decide to help Mr. Trump, the courageous one, win!
