Portsmouth Breakfast Group- Postone until next Wednesday, the 27th
This morning's snow and rain has most Columbus area schools closed per Channel 6. Roads are very slow with quite a few accidents. It is becoming rain and ice. There is no authority
in the club, now that our acting secretary has suddenly died. I, Sam, just respectfully suggest that, under these weather circumstances, we postpone today's meeting until next Wednesday the 27th.
I hope this 18/19 winter weather is subsiding by then.
Our Portsmouth Breakfast Group is such an informal and pleasurable meeting except for our recently and suddenly departed Blaine Bierleywho referred to himself as "Acting Secretary" of
Alumni in Columbus Prints. That is a very modest title.
Today's Dispatch carries Blaine's obituary . His memorial service has been arranged for Sunday, the 24th at 2 PM with visitation afterward at 3 and I want t be there to bid adieu to our tremendous "secretary" and Portsmouth OH historian, Blaine Bierley. I hope many of the club can make that.
Sam Kegley - Strong suggestion for staying safety off the roads.
