Happy New Year, Jack!
I am sorry we lost another great Trojan compatriot of yours in Jim Fout.  
As
am I Sam, irreplaceable.loss. We became friends when we were 13 years
old. Freshmen at PHS. That
frienship flourished for 72 years. Called Helen( Jim's wife to wish her a happy new year and we discussed the probability that Jim and Red Griffin were wishing each other the same this morning. The Giver of all good and perfect gifts certainly favored us to have been born in Portsmouth and live a lifetime with such wonderful friends and I try to thank him daily for that kindness. There was an old Baptist song that included the lyrics, " We'll get together in a family circle , bye and bye."
