www.skegley.blogspot.com The Blog of Sam Kegley. Many of my posts to this site are forwarded from trusted friends or family which I acknowledge by their first Name and last initial. I do not intend to release their contact info.
Welcome
Welcome to my blog http://www.skegley.blogspot.com/ . CAVEAT LECTOR- Let the reader beware. This is a Christian Conservative blog. It is not meant to offend anyone. Please feel free to ignore this blog, but also feel free to browse and comment on my posts! You may also scroll down to respond to any post.
For Christian American readers of this blog:
I wish to incite all Christians to rise up and take back the United States of America with all of God's manifold blessings. We want the free allowance of the Bible and prayers allowed again in schools, halls of justice, and all governing bodies. We don't seek a theocracy until Jesus returns to earth because all men are weak and power corrupts the very best of them.
We want to be a kinder and gentler people without slavery or condescension to any.
The world seems to be in a time of discontent among the populace. Christians should not fear. God is Love, shown best through Jesus Christ. God is still in control. All Glory to our Creator and to our God!
A favorite quote from my good friend, Jack Plymale, which I appreciate:
"Wars are planned by old men,in council rooms apart. They plan for greater armament, they map the battle chart, but: where sightless eyes stare out, beyond life's vanished joys, I've noticed, somehow, all the dead and mamed are hardly more than boys(Grantland Rice per our mutual friend, Sarah Rapp)."
Thanks Jack!
I must admit that I do not check authenticity of my posts. If anyone can tell me of a non-biased arbitrator, I will attempt to do so more regularly. I know of no such arbitrator for the internet.

Sales- Little Johnny ... thanks Doug!
And to think! The feds want to remove Blogs with nice messages such as this?
Attago, Johnny!
Attago, Johnny!
The kids filed into class Monday morning. They were very excited. Their
weekend assignment was to sell something, then give a talk on productive
salesmanship.Little Sally led off: "I sold girl scout cookies and I made $30" she said
proudly, "My sales approach was to appeal to the customer's civil spirit and
I credit that approach for my obvious success.""Very good" said the teacher.Little Jenny was next: "I sold magazines" she said, "I made $45 and I
explained to everyone that magazines would keep them up on current events."Very good, Jenny" said the teacher.Eventually, it was Little Johnny's turn. The teacher held her breath .....
Little Johnny walked to the front of the classroom and dumped a box full of
cash on the teacher's desk. "$2,467" he said."$2,467!" cried the teacher, "What in the world were you selling?"
Toothbrushes" said Little Johnny"Toothbrushes" echoed the teacher, "How could you possibly sell enough
tooth brushes to make that much money?"I found the busiest corner in town" said Little Johnny, "I set up a Dip &
Chip stand, I gave everybody who walked by a free sample."They all said the same thing, "Hey, this tastes like dog crap!"Then I would say, "It is dog crap. Wanna buy a toothbrush? I used the
President Obama method of giving you something shitty, dressing it up so it
looks good, telling you it's free, and then making you pay to get the bad
taste out of your mouth."Little Johnny got five stars for his efforts, bless his heart...

your credit cards before you die..

Now some people are
really stupid!!!!
Be sure and cancel your
credit cards before you die.
This is so priceless,
and so, so easy to see happening, customer service being what it is today..
A lady died this past
January, and Citibank billed her for February and March for their annual service
charges on her credit card, and added late fees and interest on the monthly
charge. The balance had been $0.00 when she died, but now somewhere around
$60.00. A family member placed a call to Citibank.
Here is the exchange
:
Family Member:
'I am calling to tell you she died back in January.'
Citibank : 'The
account was never closed and the late fees and charges still apply.'
Family Member :
'Maybe, you should turn it over to collections.. '
Citibank : 'Since
it is two months past due, it already has been.'
Family Member :
So, what will they do when they find out she is dead?'
Citibank :
'Either report her account to frauds division or report her to the credit
bureau, maybe both!'
Family Member :
'Do you think God will be mad at her?'
Citibank: 'Excuse
me?'
Family Member :
'Did you just get what I was telling you - the part about her being dead?'
Citibank : 'Sir,
you'll have to speak to my supervisor'
Supervisor gets on
the phone :
Family Member :
'I'm calling to tell you, she died back in January with a $0 balance.'
Citibank : 'The
account was never closed and late fees and charges still apply.'
Family Member :
'You mean you want to collect from her estate?'
Citibank :
(Stammer) 'Are you her lawyer?'
Family Member :
'No, I'm her great nephew.' (Lawyer info was given)
Citibank:
'Could you fax us a certificate of death?'
Family Member :
'Sure.' (Fax number was given )
After they get the
fax :
Citibank : 'Our
system just isn't setup for death.. I don't know what more I can do to help.'
Family Member :
'Well, if you figure it out, great! If not, you could just keep billing her. She
won't care.'
Citibank:
'Well, the late fees and charges will still apply
(What is wrong with
these people?!?)
Family Member :
'Would you like her new billing address?'
Citibank : 'That
might help....'
Family Member :
' Odessa Memorial Cemetery , Highway 129, Plot Number 69.'
Citibank : 'Sir, that's
a cemetery!'
Family Member :
'And what do you do with dead people on your planet???'
(Priceless!! )
You wondered why Citi Bank is going
broke and need the feds to bail them out!!
